| Chicago -3 League: 16-2 (Av. win 11.8) home 4- fav off an ats win as away (-3 to +3) if they shot >45%, and opp shot <40% [Chic] 10-0 (Av. win 14.7) on no rest! Portland are also in a 12-3 over spot (5-10 ats) where they allow 105.4 ppg. Bulls off a good win today, which makes them now 3-1 under new coach Boylan...who basically took at shot at the departing coach for being too conservative with starters minutes. He said today something to the effect of, "Don't expect the starters minutes to decrease anytime soon, we need to win some games"... ...which of course could be a bad thing on a back-to-back, but no-one played more than 37 last night...and Portland also played so no big deal. Blazers are just 3-10 on the road before last night's win over a terrible Minni, and allow 101.6 as it is. Chicago in a very strong spot to win and should be able to cover such a low spread.

| LET'S GO BULLS! Hi NBA Fans! Tonight, Chicago Bulls will host Portland Trailblazers at home and hosts are favored by bookies with 3 points. To be honest, I'm agree with bookies about this one. Chicago is the hot favourite here and -3 is a fair handicap. Portland is very strong at home with 15-3 but their road record is not very promising with 4-10. Yesterday they beat Minnesota but beating Timberwolves is not a big challenge. Bulls are 6-8 at home but don't let this statistics mislead you; I'm expecting Bulls to improve their home record in upcoming matches.. Bulls were awesome in second half yesterday and if they play this way I can't see Portland standing against Bulls. Portland scored lots of 3-pts against poor Minnesota yesterday but tonight they will play against Chicago! Against Chicago defence, Blazers may have some trouble tonight! It's not easy to score 3-pts jump shot when Ben Wallace is standing front of you, looking in your eyes! ![]() I'm expecting Bulls to win tonight with at least 3 points.. | Sawyer you are totally ignoring Portland's winning streak. Yea it ended, but it doesn't mean nothing yet, i'd even say that Portland is still in slightly better condition than Chicago. Portland will have to lose some games in a row to prove that they might go down. Personally i don't think that Chicago's defense is what has improved but their offense, they have just started to shoot at better percentages. Besides, look at the teams that Chicago has won lately, all of them are average at best so it doesn't really say who's better and who isn't. That's why the spread is so low. The only bet i find ok to go for tonight is the over, as Portland seems to follow the rival team's pace when they play away from home, and Chicago's getting better at field percentages only makes the bet stronger. | i picked the under in the chicago game last night...I watched the game and lets just say their 'D' wasnt up to much. Portland have a lot to prove, this is the kind of game that the public just expects them to roll over and die in...will they? |

| Hi guys Been following some of the tips on the nba threads for a while now and having a few bets on my own picks with some success so thought i may get involved in the threads abit. To be honest i dont know much about the nba at all but i hope to learn abit more this year, so if i ask a stupid question please go easy on me anyway ill have a go at these tonight:Seattle SuperSonics @ Phoenix Suns UNDER 218 The total has gone under in the last 5 of seattles games against phoenix and under in 4 of the last 5 meeting of the teams @ phoenix. the last 4 games between the teams have gone under the total set for tonight, seattle is under in 5 of the last 7 games on the road. also i dont know for sure but seattles 2 top scorers have been injured and could miss the game tonight. Portland Trail Blazers @ Chicago Bulls OVER 187.5 i dunno about the portland v chicago game i was going to go for portland but chicago has been much improved last few games and portlands away isn't so good. i think it could be a close game and with chicago's improved scoring the last 4 games (100+ points) i think they will be there abouts again and portland wont be far away. ![]() anyone got any views on my picks please let me know ive been not so good on over/under recently!!! GL all!!! ![]() |

| Chicago over 188.5 (i'm also playing it at over 194.5) The Bulls have scored at least 100 points in each game under Boylan, averaging 105.5 while shooting 46.4 percent from the field Over is 5-2 in Chicago's last seven games. Over is 5-1 in Chiacgo's last 6 home games Over is 4-1 in Chicago's last 5 games as a home favorite Over is 9-4 in Portland's last 13 games vs. Eastern Conference opponents Phoenix under 217.5 (i'm also playing it at under 211.5) Phoenix won their last three games, allowing 93 points per game. Seattle may be missing their main scorers in Durant and Wilcox Under is 8-2 in Phoenix's last 10 games vs. Western Conference Under is 4-1 in Phoenix's last 5 Thursday games. Under is 8-1 in Seattle's last 9 games vs. Western Conference. Under is 5-1 in Seattle's last 6 Thursday games Under is 17-5 in Seattle's last 22 vs. Pacific Division. Under is 5-2 in Seattle's last 7 road games Under is 5-0 in the last 5 meetings. Under is 4-1 in the last 5 meetings in Phoenix. |

| Seattle +15...Phoenix are losing ATS as a 10+fav over the last few years. They arent consistent enough to give away this sorta start. Seattle arent a bad team and can score with phoenix, should be a phoenix straight up win, but i fancy seattle to cover. Portland ML...Chicago havnt really improved, they play no decent D under new coach, they have scored better tho. People have said 'it aint hard to go on a long winning streak when majority of your games are at home', well the flip side is in action here - since finding some form Portland havent played much on the road, so surely their road record doesnt count for much ATM... looks the value in that game to me...That total looks strangely low to me?!?!?! Suspiciously so... |

| San Antonio Spurs +2.5 Alot of things point towards under in this game but i had too many unders killed by overtime recently and i think this could be another close game. SA havent done so good lately they had there best scorers injured but they returned in last game for a good win over memphis. SA have beaten Denver the last 5 times they have met, SA are 6-1 ATS in last 7 games on the road against denver and denver is 1-6 ATS in last 7 games at home. Come on spurs ![]() |

| Just wanted to say way to go Portland! Saw them at the second half and they are playing some good basketball, not to mention that they are still without Miles and Oden, so they can only get better when both of them will return. |
