Reasoning	New Jersey visit the rejuvinated Clippers today coming after 2 very dissapointing loses against the Kings and the Warriors. In both of these games they led by double digits and in both they lost by 1 point in the last seconds of the game. Against Golden State was even worse as those guys weren't able to extend their lead to more then 3 points in the entire game. They couldn't retain their 16 point lead because of not taking care of the ball and slow getting back on defense which quick Warriors guards took full advantage of. New Jersey though are a mature team and they know how to handle this kind of moments. Carter and Kidd have seen it all. They lack Krstic and RJ's offense but they don't really look like they miss any offensive power at all. Clippers are entering this game after a 3 game winning streak which should have worked well for their morale. Depleted Golden State, Memphis and Milwaukee were easy tasks though. Now they have to beat New Jersey's desire to make a comeback after the recent results. I think the chances for each one of these two to get a win are somewhere near 50%-50% but the handicap margin is quite high against a team like New Jersey who very rarely loses control of games until the end. I don't think tiredeness will affect New Jersey, they got good stamina and their style of play is just consistent and not very exhausting as they don't run the floor a lot, they just know how to shot the ball very well.

I think this game is clearly going over 190. Also I think Dallas-Chicago could go over despite good Chicago defense and I would go on Chicago at a +5,5 handicap.

The Bulls hope to end the eight-game winning streak the Mavericks are currently on. They can only hope!

The Dallas Mavericks have lost only one of the last 23 games. They have beaten teams like the Lakers, the Rockets, the Magic in recent games and the chances of the Bulls beating them tonight in Chicago are really slim. Nowitzki is the real leader of the team. He scores 32.2 points per game and he has 10.7 rebounds per game. In the last game the Mavericks played, on Tuesday at Orlando (111-95), he finished the game with 33 points, 10 rebounds and 8 assists. Howard scored 25 on the same game.

The Bulls managed to avoid the second three-game losing streak in the last ten games by beating the Hawks on Tuesday 94-86. Duhon, one of the starters, did not play on that game on coach’s decision (after being suspended because he missed a practice). His replacement in the starting lineup is Ben Gordon, who is the leader of the team at this moment. But he did not show that in the game against Atlanta- there were only 12 points next to his name after the game (instead of more than 20 which he had in the previous games). Deng scored 18 points and Hinrich had 12 assists.

The first game between the two teams was played in November and the Mavericks won easily 111-99. It is interesting to note that there was only one time, after Michael Jordan left the Bulls that this team managed to win over the Mavericks. That was in February 2005. In the meantime, the Mavericks have won 16 times.

It is almost 100% certain that this will be the 17th victory in that span. The Bulls struggled against one of the weakest teams in the league, the Hawks, and probably no one expects that they could be the second team in the last 24 games to surprise the Mavericks.
