hahahahahah you made me very laugh man!
no time for reasoning and you just put 15 plain picks!
where did you get them? sucked outta your thumb?
maybe it should be more of use if you put some short preview only to them you consider "denotes best bets" as you stated.
please think about it...

St Louis -2.5
Wellemeyer allowed four hits with three strikeouts while throwing 76 pitches in five scoreless innings of a 3-2, 10-inning loss at Detroit on Thursday. Wellemeyer will try to help the Cardinals win a fourth consecutive game after they beat the Mets 7-1 in Monday's series opener behind Kyle Lohse, who gave up one unearned run in seven innings. The Cardinals are hitting .310 with 15 homers over the last 10 games, and Albert Pujols has been a big part of that since returning from the disabled list Thursday.

The Mets have scored six runs in their last four games - three losses - after posting a 15-6 victory over the New York Yankees on Friday.

Cardinals are 5-2 in their last 7 games vs. a right-handed starter.

Cardinals are 6-2 in Wellemeyers last 8 home starts.
Cardinals are 4-0 in Wellemeyers last 4 starts as a favorite.
Cardinals are 4-1 in Wellemeyers last 5 starts as a home favorite.
Cardinals are 8-3 in Wellemeyers last 11 starts when their opponent scores 2 runs or less in their previous game.
Cardinals are 7-3 in Wellemeyers last 10 starts after allowing 2 runs or less in their previous game

Mets are 6-16 in the last 22 meetings in St. Louis

Houston -2.5
The Astros look to win four straight for the first time in nearly two months Tuesday night when they continue a four-game series against the visiting Los Angeles Dodgers.
Coming off an outstanding outing, Rodriguez looks to win consecutive starts for the first time this season. He matched a career high with nine strikeouts and limited Texas to one run and five hits over a season-best eight innings Thursday in a 7-2 victory. Rodriguez's numbers are even better at home, where he is 2-2 with a 1.89 ERA. He has yielded one earned run or none in five of six starts at Minute Maid Park. Rodriguez is 2-1 with a 2.41 ERA in three career starts against the Dodgers.

Offensive problems continue to plague the Dodgers, who have scored three total runs in their last four games. They have managed one run or fewer in six of the last eight contests.
Kershaw struggled in his last outing, allowing two runs, six hits and four walks in four-plus innings Thursday in a 2-0 loss to the Chicago White Sox. He hasn't received much run support - getting only eight runs in his seven starts.

Astros are 4-1 in their last 5 overall.
Astros are 4-1 in their last 5 home games.

Astros are 14-6 in Rodriguezs last 20 home starts.

Dodgers are 5-13 in their last 18 road games.
Dodgers are 19-44 in their last 63 games as an underdog.
Dodgers are 18-44 in their last 62 games as a road underdog.
Dodgers are 7-22 in their last 29 games vs. a starter with a WHIP less than 1.15.
Dodgers are 1-9 in their last 10 games vs. a left-handed starter.
Dodgers are 0-4 in their last 4 road games vs. a left-handed starter.

Dodgers are 1-4 in Kershaws last 5 starts.

Dodgers are 1-5 in the last 6 meetings in Houston.
Dodgers are 0-4 in the last 4 meetings.

Cincinnati -2.5
Volquez has allowed no more than two runs in 13 of his first 15 starts - he gave up three in the other two. Volquez should be more than happy to be back in Cincinnati, where he is 5-0 with a 1.83 ERA in seven home starts. He allowed three hits in five scoreless innings in a 1-0 loss at Pittsburgh on April 11 in his only career appearance against the Pirates.

Duke is winless in 12 road starts since winning at Cincinnati on May 27, 2007. He has not faced the Reds since that game and won both his starts against them last year despite allowing eight runs and 13 hits in 11 innings. Duke had won his last two decisions before giving up four runs and seven hits in five innings of a 10-0 loss to the New York Yankees on Wednesday

Reds are 13-6 in their last 19 games as a home favorite.
Reds are 7-2 in their last 9 home games vs. a left-handed starter.
Reds are 8-2 in Volquezs last 10 starts.

Welcome to the forum badgeman...It is nice to read somebody's reasoning however I wouldn't crucify anybody for not writing one..Besides all that really matters is whether or not the play wins....

What I think would really help us all here is if we had some kind of a best play gentleman's contest daily and someone can keep track of the win/loss record and rankings...What do you guys think ?

Yeah I'd be up for this, need to add some discipline to my baseball betting and hopefully this could help. Maybe everyone could choose their 2 top tips to go towards the stats? I dont mind tabulating it all

St Louis -2.5
Houston -2.5
Cincinnati -2.5

I might as well throw the stats out the window as nothing seems to work out the way it was intended.

I'll take 60% these days
