This will be his first start versus the Giants, though he is 1-0 with a 2.16 ERA and one save in five relief appearances against them.

Lincecum hasn't received a decision in his last three starts - a stretch in which he has given up nine runs and 18 hits while striking out 20 in 19 innings. While he fanned eight his last time out, Lincecum also gave up five runs and six hits in five innings - his shortest start of the season - as the Giants lost 11-10 to Kansas City on Sunday.

Unlucky with the Detroit handicap bet there. They blow a 3 run lead (leading 5-2) in the 9th inning and it took a double from Miguel Cabrera for the Tigers to sneak a 7-6 win!
