Oswalt is 4-1 with a 1.38 ERA in six games against Philadelphia. Oswalt (1-0, 1.08 ERA) tossed a five-hitter on Saturday in Houston's 5-1 win over St. Louis for the club's first victory of the season.

Myers allowed six runs and eight hits (six for extra bases) in 4 1-3 innings in Philadelphia's 8-5 loss to Florida on Saturday. Though he's struggled so far this season, Myers is 2-1 with a 4.28 ERA in five career starts against Houston and won his only start against the Astros in 2006.

Haren has allowed just one earned run in 13 innings this season, but also has received one run of support. He allowed two runs - one earned - and six hits in seven innings on Saturday in Oakland's 2-1 loss to the Los Angeles Angels.

Haren has received 32 runs of support in five career starts against the Yankees, however, and is 3-0 record against them. The right-hander was 2-0 with a 2.61 ERA in three starts against New York last season, and is 1-0 with a 4.00 ERA in three starts against them at McAfee Coliseum.

Igawa didn't look impressive in his major league debut as he gave up seven runs, eight hits including two homers, walked three and hit a batter over five innings on Saturday

Facing Halladay (1-0, 3.46 ERA) has not been an easy task for the Tigers in recent years. The right-hander allowed two earned runs in six innings against Detroit earlier this month in a 5-3, 10-inning loss, and is 10-2 with a 1.93 ERA in 13 career games against the Tigers. He is 5-1 with a 1.41 ERA in six games at home against Detroit.

Bonderman (0-0, 3.75) lasted six innings on opening day, but allowed three first-inning runs. He also went six innings against Kansas City on Sunday, allowing two runs and seven hits with eight strikeouts in a 3-2 win over Kansas City. He is 2-1 with a 3.46 ERA in seven games against Toronto.

The Twins are hoping to put the game away much sooner with the dominant Santana (2-0, 2.77 ERA) on the mound. The left-hander is 17-0 with a 2.08 ERA in his last 24 starts at the Metrodome and has lasted at least six innings in all but one of those outings.

He has also enjoyed success versus Tampa Bay, posting a 3-0 record with a 1.86 ERA in his last four starts. Santana gave up two hits and one walk while striking out 12 over eight innings in an 8-0 win at Tampa Bay on Sept. 5.

Scott Kazmir (0-1, 6.75) looks to snap a winless streak that stretches back to before last year's All-Star break. The left-hander, who was shut down in August because of soreness in his pitching shoulder, is 0-4 with a 3.99 ERA in his last eight starts since beating Boston on July 3.

He looked ready to end that skid Sunday when his first eight outs came via strikeout - including a team record six in a row. Over seven innings, Kazmir gave up two homers that plated four runs in a 6-3 defeat to Toronto.

Kazmir is 0-3 with a 4.50 ERA in three career starts versus Minnesota.
