OHKA is 0-1 when starting against DETROIT with an ERA of 13.50 and a WHIP of 2.571. He allowed 7 runs on 9 hits in 5.2 innings. His team's record is 0-1 (-1.0 units) in these starts. The OVER is 1-0..
MAROTH is 3-3 when starting against TORONTO with an ERA of 6.92 and a WHIP of 1.611.
His team's record is 4-3 (+2.9 units) in these starts. The OVER is 4-2. In the Rogers Centre he's 1-2 in 4 starts with a 7.71 ERA.

Baltimore over 9.5

8 of 12 games in this series have gone OVER THE TOTAL over the last 3 seasons.
Games played in Baltimore 4 of 6 games in this series have gone OVER THE TOTAL over the last 3 seasons .

Minnesota run line
Minnesota's Carlos Silva has allowed no more than a run in five of his last seven starts. He was great in his first game of the season April 7 against the White Sox, but the Twins couldn’t score and Silva took the loss. The 27-year-old right-hander allowed one run and five hits in five innings.

Opponents are hitting .335 against the Devil Rays, and their hurlers now carry a 7.35 ERA.
Casey Fossum is pitching for Tampa Bay on Thursday. His ERA is 17.18 after one game

If I had kids, I wanted Twins...

Late night bet on the Minnesota Twins.

The Twins play the Devil Rays at home and the pitchers matchup is ridiculous... Fossum is take the mound for Tampa, and Minnesota is starting ace Silva.
Fossum is horrible and is coming of a surgery, well is ERA this season is 17.18 so far and Whip is over 2. Silva, on the other hand, is great in the last games. The Bullpen matchup is also in favour for the Twins, so no argument here.
Tampa got a big win yesterday in Texas by one run so they will be a little relaxed and they travelled to Minnesota, while the Twins are coming of a comfortable win over the Yankees (it is like a shot of vodka for the morale)
No question, take the Twins

85 years old...

This is the combined age of the starting pitchers for the NY Mets vs. Phillies matchup.

Today we witness a duel of dinosaurs, the Mets are going with Tom Glavine and the Phillies are starting Jamie Moyer. This alone should be a reason to go with the Mets as they want to win the series, but the weather is awful.
Glavine as said that the cold weather, strong wins and heavy rain might affect his control, well, I expect this to happen to Moyer (44 years old) also.
Vegas is posting the game total at 8,5... I think that they are out of their minds. NY is hitting very good and the Phillies aren´t going to throw the game, I expect a lot of hitting and some defense errors on both sides (the Mets bullpen threw 61/3 innings yesterday).

Take over 8,5

How I come by the selections

I use a programme to calculate the number of runs each team score and allow home & away from their last 5 games.

It also weighs the results based on the relative strengths of the pervious teams faced and it then calculated the mean expected score for each team.

This total is then compard to the lastest odds and the resultant table is Printed above.

The actual results this season are

54-33-5 (62.07%) @ 1.9 (average odds) +15.6 units
