Cal Poly +170 To win Over Massachusetts


College Basketball is back with a pretty big schedule today and tonight, There is a pick out there that has me shaking my head. Cal Poly for me is a GREAT price as I feel they will win this game and wouldn't be suprised if they won it quite easily. Cal Poly is the 2nd best team in the Big West Confrence and has a very good backcourt led by Trae Clark and Dawin Whiten, Whiten (a senior) scored in double figures in 19 games last year and also had a 31 point game, is likely to be first team all confrence. Massachusetts on the other hand will be in for a losing season for sure, I am quite familiar with this team and they lost 3 key players who gradudated last year, Stephane Lasme (plays for NBA Golden St.) was a tremendous defensive player and was one of the nation's best shot blockers and really came on offensively averaging double figures. Also Rashaun Freeman was another very good player who also averaged double figures is gone as well. Finally James Life Massachusetts starting SG is also gone, he was a great 3 point shooter and another player that averaged double figures. Massachusetts lost there 3 best players and now they will be asking G/F Gary Forbes to step up and play well with the loss of those 3. Forbes is talented but is pretty insconsistent and this Umass team might find it hard to win 10 games this year. I suggest at least a small punt on this game as this is a GREAT bargain.

GL to you as well, I think we found a good price here as not only did Umass lose those 3 players listed above. I also see now that would be Sophomore Guard "Tiki" Mayben has left the team. Mayben was very talented but was also troubled and has left the program. Tiki was a 4 star recruit and was originally set to play at Syracuse but did not get good enough grades then went to Umass for his freshman year. So yet another talented player that will not be playing this year for Massachusetts.

Well, Cal poly just went ice cold it was a tie game with about 10 mins to play now umass up 20? ....I apologize for the pick i really thought cal poly would win they are 3-20 from 3 pt range and havent scored in 5 mins now
