If i'm not mistaken justin bonomo is the kid 'zeejustin' who admitted multiaccounting in all the big online tournaments and subsequently banned. Would be a disgrace if he won a bracelet

to be fair to him, it was a couple of years ago and he regrets the whole thing. Think he's grown up a bit now.

What surprises me is that he got a sponsorship deal Right or wrong, he's still (and always will be) associated as "that guy that got caught cheating" - especially in the current climate (Absolute and Ultimate Bet), why would any site want to be associated with someone who has a reputation for cheating?

It's arguable that what Mizzi did was not as bad (though I certainly think it was wrong).

I have mixed feelings about Bonomo. I'm not for a moment defending what he did, but it does seem as though he may have genuinely repented after initially making some rather lame excuses, and he does seem to be trying to be a "good poker citizen" these days. At least he didn't try to deny what he'd done.

I'd far rather he won a bracelet than "JJ-Prodigy" (though he's still too young at the moment). He made up some ridiculous story about his Granny, allegedly continued to multiregister, and coincidentally decided that he was contrite days before his first major live tournament.
