Nothing much to report on apart from the chipcounts as they move onto Razz. Chip Counts Seat 3 - Bruno Fitoussi - 6,000,000 Seat 4 - John Hanson - 4,180,000 Seat 5 - Freddy Deeb - 4,690,000 Looks like my nightmare scenario is still on! ![]() EDIT: PokerNews adds... Play Resumes w/Razz The players return from their break to start playing razz. If anything can wake these guys up ... well, it's not razz. The antes are big (50,000), the bring in is bigger (70,000), and the completion is outrageously high (250,000). The limits are 250,000-500,000. There is 220,000 in the pot before anybody acts. If someone completes on third street, and there is a bet on every street without raises, it costs 2,050,000 each to get to a showdown. ========== Not quite WPT final table/shove-and-hope tactics yet but we're getting gradually closer! ![]() Last edited by stereoman; 29-06-2007 at 11:32.

The Edge? At this point, with the chips evenly dispersed among the players, does any of them hold an edge? Freddy Deeb might have the most experience and more impressive poker resume. Plus, the one thing that he might be able to do better than Joh Hanson is to be able to endure a long session that lasts until 5 or 6 o'clock in the morning. When poker players get tired, they tend to make bad decisions and that's the difference between third place and winning a bracelet in HORSE. Whoever is the least tired might be able to take advantage of the impatient and undisciplined play from their exhausted counterparts.

Hand #311 - Freddy Deeb Hand #311 - (Razz) Bruno Fitoussi: 7-2-7-K John Hanson: 8-3 Freddy Deeb: 3-10-A-2 3rd: Hanson brings it in for 70,000, Deeb limps, and Fitoussi limps. 4th: Fitoussi bets 250,000, Hanson folds, and Deeb calls. 5th: Deeb bets 500,000, and Fitoussi calls. 6th: Deeb bets 500,000, and Fitoussi stretches, leans back in his chair, and then stands up to get a better look at Deeb's cards. Fitoussi asks, "No ace? No deuce?" Deeb remains silent and still. Fitoussi counts out the chips for the bet, and then sits back down to think with his hands on his head. After about three minutes, Fitoussi calls. 7th: Deeb bets 500,000, and Fitoussi says, "I call." Deeb shows 5-4-A for a perfect 5 low, and Fitoussi mucks. Freddy Deeb wins the pot. Fitoussi asks Deeb when he got it, and Deeb says he started with the 5-4 in the hole, making a wheel on sixth street.

Chip Counts Freddy Deeb - 10,800,000 Bruno Fitoussi - 4,070,000 The game switches to seven card stud for the final two players. The antes are 50,000, the bring in is 70,000, and the completion is 250,000. The limits are 250,000-500,000. EDIT: PokerNews adds... Chip Counts Freddy Deeb - 11,230,000 Bruno Fitoussi - 3,7400,000 Last Bird on the Rail The crowd at the HORSE final table is a bit sparse. The only pro left in the stands is... Isabelle Mercier. She's sweating her good friend Bruno Fitoussi and has been cheering for him over the last few hours. Over fourteen hours ago, the entire final table area was jam packed with spectators. It was standing room only. But now as it approaches 4:20 PDT, there are only a handful of die hards around checking out the heads up match up between Freddy Deeb and Bruno Fitoussi. ============= Freddy will either have to be careless or unlucky to lose from here now, surely!? ![]() Last edited by stereoman; 29-06-2007 at 12:24.
