Default Virgin Poker Festival

How cool does this look? 24th/25th November in Birmingham.

£105 two day deep stacked main event
£5,000 added to prize pot plus loads of Virgin bounties including flights to Vegas.
Low buy-in side events with added value
Free bar

More prizes are yet to be confirmed.....

Looks like it could be a right PL Paaaaaarty here!!! Virgin will kick start the event by giving PL 2 free tickets (agreed in principle - we just need to work out the format through which they will be given away)

It is looking probable that you wont be able to buy in direct for this (subject to change) and that qualification will be mostly through online sats (starting in August)

I think it's a good way of doing it ..... it will be massively over subscribed - better to have a poker tournament to earn your place than the "fastest finger first" system APAT use IMO

They think that there will likely be in the region of 150 places.......

Think it will be a string of events - not just a single MTT satellite (though I could be wrong)

The Virgin Poker Festival Birmingham
------------------------------------
Hi Joe,

This is your chance to join Virgin for a weekend
of poker and fun at the Virgin Poker Festival in
November at the Broadway Casino in Birmingham.

There’ll be no muddy fields or pouring rain – what
we can promise is:

- £105 two day, deep stacked main event.
- £5,000 added to main event prize pool.
- Virgin bounties including flights to Vegas and
Virgin experience days out.
- Two side events with added value.
- Bad beat jackpot.

There are no direct buy-ins for this event,
therefore you’re going to have to hit the Virgin poker
tables to win your seat to the event through our
satellites (priced between $2.50 and $23).

To mark the launch of the online qualification
we’re having a Virgin Poker Festival giveaway week!

------------------------------------
Date Event
------------------------------------
- Monday 30th July - Festival Freeroll
Two main event seats + 20 weekly final seats to be won

- Wednesday 1st August - Super Satellite Guarantee
Four main event seats guaranteed

- Thursday 2nd August - Festival Freeroll
Two main event seats + 20 weekly final seats to be won
-------------------------------------

Visit virginpoker.com now for more information and get
yourself ready to win a seat next week!

It COULD take $2.50 though morl If online players are THAT bad, then you will prevail sooner rather than later ..... take tonights freeroll - 5 PL'rs in the top 10 - that's not chance (and it's not "weight of numbers")
