Great idea Morls.

Like Dobbin, if it is at DTD, I'd be very interested. If elsewhere, it would depend on travelling/hotel cost.

Either way it is an excellent idea.

limit is ok for tourneys i sposebut i still find it frustrating as you cant pull moves that make you a fair bit on pl.

making people pay for their low draws.

in limit its often a easy call for those on a low draw,pl you can really catch people out who shouldnt be calling.

push to pick up the pot with the nuts one way.

if you have the nuts one way but nothing the other way ,in pl you can push the opponent off the pot if they are mediocre both ways to pick up the lot,in limit they will call it down.

easier to pick off those that overvalue a nut hand one way and nothing the other.

some players will happily keep raiseing/reraiseing with the nuts one way and no possible hand the other, again this suits pl better as you can really get a big pot if its being quartered.

maybe all the extra action in pl is a bit to much for a old guy like you bri
maybe you should take up bridge or crib.

Considering dropping the Omaha now.....not much support has been shown for it, and as we will be opening DTD early for the omaha, it dosent seem viable with the number of players to costs.

Any views?

Just posted up details of the full prize structure in the Titan league here where 1st & 2nd win a $200 live seat to PL WSOP. At the moment this is intended as £25 + £50 seats + expenses but may need to change depending on final arrangements.

More chances to win seats to be announced shortly.

Ok, after talking to numerous people, im gonna keep the Omaha game in, its only £25 and it makes a full day out at the event a little more exciting.

We have 7 intending to play both events, and then theres the winners of the PL tourneys, so i think 20 is acheiveable

I wouldn't consider changing anything until you have a confirmed date and venue. Most people are not globe trotting millionaires like you mate and cannot begin to make plans until they know where and when they are going.

shouldn't be to hard to get about 20 players.
we get about 15-20on a friday for the variant games on fridays so finding players that play omaha shouldnt be too hard

like bri says ,maybe worth waiting for more details.
