Its not set in stone yet, its just a provisional date really, so dont worry too much, we need to get more input from other PLers too, anyone else got any views?

Anyone see any positives or negatives for these?

Could someone point me in the right direction for an inauguration, if you like, into the PL Poker community. Just to get some idea of what you all get up to, and which sites and all that malarkey?

I'd definitely be up for the Hold Em event in this if the venue was Newcastle. Other venues would be a bit unlikely as there's a new addition due in the summer and overnight time off will be non existent

Both look OK all I would say is that the 16th August is in the school holidays so those with kids maybe planning holidays around that time

Personally the 16th August would be no good to me or mark, could probably do the 13th September, but the 6th would be better for me. Us farmers have to work sometimes you know!

As for venue newcastle would obviously be easiest for me, but i like the sound of DTD, as it would probably be the first time at lot of us will have been there it would certainly add to the occasion.

Also reasonably central in the country so should help to reduce the travelling.

Anyway thats my thoughts.

Come on guys give morls some feedback the more the better.

p.s. Samba have a look at the daily poker thread to see what tourneys people are playing.

**Poker Thursday 10th April**

Hi Samba and to poker!

For online poker you need to look in the Poker Tourneys forum. We post a daily diary up (in the stickies) of various popular/value tourneys on a variety of sites. There's also some PL exclusive leagues running at the moment on Titan and Poker Kings which you are welcome to join in. Just post up in the relevant thread if you are interested.

Mrs_C and I are only 'possibles' at the moment. Luton would be our prefered venue. We could do 13/9 but not 16/8.

If we are looking at DTD, then I'll commit to try and make any date. The three mentioned so far are all ok.

You can't get much more central for everyone than DTD - Personally I'd prefer September - plus August is usually more likely to be Holiday season for people.

I'd make the Hold'em event for sure, if dates are OK.
However I may buy most of my clothes at Oxfam, but I'm not by nature a charitable person so I'd probably give the PLO a miss.

Hey Morl, Interested in the Hold em game. Omaha not for me tho'. September would be best & DTD sounds good too.

Keep up the good work mate.
