PL World Series of Poker Live Event at Dusk Til Dawn, Sat 27 Sept, Reg open!

Punters Lounge are proud to present the first PuntersLounge World Series of Poker Live Event.

The event will consist of 2 tournaments on the same day, starting with a £25 Pot Limit Omaha event at 3pm followed by a break for lunch/drinks and concluded with a £50 No Limit Holdem event starting 8pm.

Event details so far.

Date: Saturday 27th September
Venue: Dusk Til Dawn, Nottingham

2pm Meet and Greet at the casino
3pm £25 Pot Limit Omaha High event begins (maximum 27 players)
8pm £50 No Limit Holdem event begins (maximum 54 players)

The events will be on a 1st come 1st served basis so get your name down asap to guarantee yourself a seat.

How to Register?

1. Click the banner below and download the DTD software.
2. Register an account and deposit enough to cover your Satellite Fee (£5.50) or Direct Buyin Fee (£55).
3. Click on Tourneys Tab, then DTD Live, then scroll down to September 27th. Click register and enter password, then you are registered.

I would def play if it was at dtd(only 30 mins away)....not sure if it was held somewhere else

It is a good idea, obviously location is going to dictate numbers and I would suggest that London makes the event a whole lot more expensive digs wise for people (but Luton is a good G with a cheap lodge nearby)

The other point, that I have tried to make in the private games on a Friday, HiLo games should be limit, the nature of Omaha and the split pot doesn't lend itself to pot limit that is just for high really. The pot limit hilo played last Friday was just bingo I not sure if the (real) WSOP do this game but I'm pretty sure they are mostly limit. Maybe this should be looked at or even a mixed limit game for the stud enthusiasts.

Whatever G if the dates are right I'll be there and play both

The omaha game i was proposing is Omaha High , which i why i went for Pot Limit as yes your right, if its HILO then limit is the key.

The dates i was looking at was after the WSOP and before the WSOPe in order to get as many players as we can withought being interupted by big festivals.

i dont agree with bri or morls on the hilo debate tho,i reckon pl is better in hilo,but as were not playing hilo it dont really matter

i think anywhere centralish is a good idea .so i would vote for the g luton ,broadway brum(drinks were dear here tho)or dtd.
