How about giving an opportunity to the guys that tried to get into the Poker Festival but failed, like me, but I'm still attending the festival, yes to support my son, but also to play the side tournaments.

Just a thought??

Or to keep it random draw them out of a hat.

Well so far we have had three opinions on this and ill go by majority vote to decide. Lets remember its gonna begin after midnight, and some of us will have been playing poker since 3pm.

1. We should pick our KNOWN strongest players to play from the players who want to be involved in the tourney and go into this forum challenge wanting to win, strait down the line , we play to win and take it seriously.

2. We go into the forum challenge with the idea that its a bit of fun with a little matter of beating other forums if we can, but at the end of the day its taking part that counts, and as long as everyone has a good time, thats all that matters. In which case it would be names drawn from a hat from the players that have said they will play.

3. We see who is left at 11pm at night, not drunk and still wants to play. again, if we are over subscribed, we draw names.

Ill add a poll to close next friday.....majority rules and we take it from there

And which tea-drinking killjoy is going to be the lucky one to breathalyse PL'ers or make a judgement on their ability to play at 11pm on Saturday night? Or tell Brian that he's NOT playing

That said, it's the option I've chosen , but I actually think that it makes more sense to be one person's decision - and that person, logically, is you, Morl

If we don't win and/or you pick a set of drunken bums who fall asleep, then you're sacked as "Poker Live" mod - seems fair to me.

All those in favour say "Way-aye"

I thought the idea about letting those play who are railing rather than playing in the main event was a good idea, but not sure which option to choose now.

I told Morls weeks ago to count me out but thanks for the insult.

However, I do think if it is serious the best players should play and morls should decide a team. If it is just a bit of fun then who cares who plays?
