Betfair Grand Prix IV - Live Final 16th May

Okay, the details are finally here.
The date of the final is: Friday, May 16
Doors: 6.30pm for a 7.00pm start.
The tournament should be over by 2.00am.

Location: The (wonderful) City Bunker in London: http://www.citybunker.co.uk/

The tournament will be played out by the top 30 on the leaderboard after the last freeroll, the deep-stack this Sunday, 4pm. Also, the 10 freeroll winners and the PokerPlayers.

Side games will be available once the tables start to break down. In the meantime there'll be a bar, golf simulators and HillyTheFish (current Grand Prix champion) to amuse the railbirds.

The winner will get the £12,000 WSOPE package. This can't be won by a PokerPlayer, which is lucky for you as we've won two out of three finals so far and are looking to make it a hat-trick. The runners-up will be playing for a $3,000 prize pool. The PokerPlayers are eligible for this but all monies will be donated to charity. All players will get fed and watered (two free drinks, then a cash bar).

Everyone who qualifies will get an email after this Sunday - hopefully see you there!

Just got the email confirming qualification but I wont be able to go. (cheaper going to Vegas and playing a satt there!)
Email says they will reallocate places to next in line to replace those that cant turn up so theres hope for those just outside the top 30 (Teazz?)

Any one know how long it takes to get payment from these tournies?

Hi gl anything from 2 days to a week.

The expenses do add up,surprised they dont drop the freerolls to $500 a time and use the other $5,000 towards expenses (approx £60 pp)

I think part of the whole experience is the live part but perhaps it could be played online down to the final 10 and then live.
