Well for the sake of £40 quid each, even if we dont use the monday stay, and check out early its still only £20 a night, cant beat that really.

The APAT UK Forum Championship will be fully dealer dealt and played over two days at the G Casino in Blackpool, on July 19th & 20th.

The entry fee per player will be £50 and no registration fee will be charged. All of the entry fees will be returned in prize money and there will be an added GUKPT seat for the individual tournament winner; in addition to prize money for the top three finishing forums. The owner of the winning forum will win an additional £1,000 prize, the Forum Championship Cup and the right to call their community the premier poker playing forum in the UK.

The event will be run to the normal APAT tournament structure, with each player receiving 10,000 chips, on a 40 minute clock. The final fifty players will earn ranking points towards the Forum Championship. Teams will be made up of ten players.

Gutshot
London Poker Meetup
Punters Lounge

The Hendon Mob

Forums should appoint a captain and can apply to enter a maximum of two teams by the closing date of June 22nd. Final player selections will need to be confirmed by June 29th.

This event is expected to one of the most competitive hosted by APAT and forums are encouraged to organise team shirts and get into the spirit of what is certain to be an outstanding weekend in Blackpool.

Still got a few days for the 2nd team request to go in.

Are we doing shirts? If so who do I need to speak to?

Sigh........after asking for more than 10 places, id have expected the admin of this to realise that we needed more than 1 team

If this is capped at 200 runners as it usually is at the G, then theres 16 1st teams and 4 2nd teams already been asked for. Therefore no space for a 2nd team from PL im presuming

Had a reply from Chipaccrual (Pawprint on here) on the APAT forum regarding the situation.

From the discussions on the weekend, it sounds like the list may be at 20 by now (with reserves on top again). Des was reviewing it this week once recovered from Dublin.

Yes but I thought the idea was to go Friday Saturday (we wasn't staying Sunday anyway) So do not see the point of booking something for Sat/Sun/Mon when I will have to book somewhere for Friday
