Me, Heniek, Gazza and Laidbackbloke were in Aspers Newcastle tonight and who do we see playing in the £5/£5 pot limit.....Annette Obrestad.....wow! Thought Heniek and Gazza were gonna have heart attacks at seeing a star, LBB didnt have a clue who she was

My mate Dean, who plays in my legion game, was sat at the table with her, now Deano only plays small stakes online 5c/10c and for him to be in a £5/£5 pot limit with a good field was great to see, he was £500 up at one point but was cruely robbed on the river when a guy chasing a strait hit his card and took down the pot.

Best hand he played.....Annette Raised to £25, Dean re-raises to £70 and Annette folds and shows AQo, Dean has a rye smile and shows me AJo

Hope he signs up now and reads this....you may have lost your money mate, but you played well and just got unlucky

There was'nt to many watching her tbh mate.Pretty thing as well, much better than looks in the pictures without those big sunglasses on

We watched her for a couple of hands then left for the roulette tables and when we popped back later she had a HUGE stack of chips in front of her.

Cant believe that at one stage the management were going to make her table a self deal one

Lovely casino BTW , best one I've been in.Will be a great setting for the Virgin Festival, you will have a blast

Why was she in Aspers Newcastle Gaz. Was there a big tournament being lined up or promoted there?

Yeah, I was shocked actually. My first big poker player I have seen.
It was funny to turn around and there she was behind me. Nice, little, cute thing too .

Casino was crowded with Norwegians actually. There were on some kind of poker cruise around Europe and I presume she was on it.
She was blending in very well in the crowd. There was no fuss about her whatsoever.
