Definition is as Mike says

Is quite an interesting time in a tournament because natural instinct is to just try and hold on and limp into the prizes and not risk your tournament at this stage ...... good players tend to loosen up though as other players tighten up - if they bubble, so be it, but the times they win a big prize will generally be worth more than winning more smaller prizes......

Thanks Sam that looks really useful

Just to make sure I understand, did Spurs finish "on the bubble" with regards to the Champions league last year?

On tilt refers to a player going a bit crazy after suffering a bad beat (or reacting to trash talk etc.) playing cards he wouldn't normally.
