Why the Check on the river Steph? That seems pretty passive for your normal style. Did the straight concern you at all? If he had bet bigger would you have still called?

Yes the straight concerned me, but mainly i checked to keep the pot managable, by this i mean if i bet say 1k and he now bets 3k (pot) it makes it a lot harder for me to call. If he had overbet the pot as you suggest yes i would call . if he had the straight he would bet less to get paid. it wouldve been harder for me to call a 950 bet than the pot bet he made

I dont think it was too passive, it was more about pot control

This hand was in a 10/20 euro game, the bet i made on the river induced the all in. If i had bet say 1k he would have only called so i thought if i keep it low enough he will raise with the K and commit himself.
