Default Gus Hansen goes all-in, and all-in, and ...

Don't know if everybody's seen this. Gus mentions it in his book, and coincidentally I saw it on TV in America just after reading that.

Funniest poker TV I've seen, especially for the frustrated expressions on some of the other players (and spectators!), and for Hellmuth's reaction.

I'll post the link rather than embedding it, so you can follow the links to the later segments (it calms down after Freddy Deeb goes out early in segment 3), and read the comments (many of which really don't get it!).

I've never seen that before - for me it's poker at it's most interesting - it's a strange situation where you need to play the situation and cards are pretty insignificant..... In many ways I see it as similar to the esport league with all the sitouts around....

Did they really start with 15xBB? Starting short stacked makes Hansens strategy easier - if it had started deeper stacked he wouldn't have been able to do it straight away I presume

Not sure of the exact amount. But it is very short-stacked.

By the way, they don't show all the hands on TV. He says in the book that he went all-in (or bet enough to put everybody else all-in) 27 times before he lost a hand, winning 24 and tieing 3.

Absolutely insane, but genius at the same time.
They must have shown those 3 episodes on Hungarian's national TV though .

It would have been great to see Ivey get AA, before the stage where he could afford to be eliminated. It should have been a pretty straightforward lay down I imagine.....

There is also one from Poker Stars somewhere if you search youtube..

10 seater - guy goes all in and wins in about 40 odd hands

Some of his suckouts are AMAZING!!
