Can anybody beat 36 minutes? - The Punters Lounge

OK, I'm sure I'm not alone in entering a limit tournament by accident,
intending to play NL.

But what's the record for the time it takes to realize you're playing limit?

HoldemPoker gave me a birthday present of an entry into any $5+$0.50
tournament, and I played a STT, and was completely card-dead for 36
minutes, so it was only then that I noticed I was playing limit, when I
eventually decided I'd better start stealing some blinds.

I finished 3rd, by the way, and won $10 for my birthday present.

I cant remember how long it took me to realize, but I did the same you and made the final table out of about 250 on 888 & made about $60. Bloody boring though.

Out of all the players on here Teazz I can see that limit poker is quite possibly least suited to your game!

Bizarrely, I actually do reasonably well at limit on the occasions I play... not what you'd expect!
