Default player notes - wondering how useful they actually are

have just been playing 2 short cash tables and would be interested in what notes others made on me

table 1 - TAG play, moves at the right times, value bets etc - doubled up in an hour

table 2 - TAG play, moves at the wrong times, my value bets got called and beat, lost my stack in an hour

same tactics on both tables, one which worked and one which didn't

so I guess one set of notes says - tough player, bets and raises with solid hands, showed down good hands

and the other, loose aggressive, over plays draws and mid pairs, likes to bluff at dangerous boards, shows weak holdings

hmmmm maybe I need to re-evaulate my note taking on others?

Just musing

The ratio:

moves at the right times / moves at the wrong times

is a pretty good approximation of how good a player your are. If every move in a session goes wrong, make a note on the other players stating "This guy thinks I'm a chump", and just fleece them next time instead.

You know those times when you make a terrible call...win or lose, if the table see your cards and realise what a muppet you were...just note the players as they will happily call your raises for some time to come.
Sometimes in an STT I'll do it on purpose...nowt like throwing away 100 chips to ensure all the other players think you are as thick as pig-shit!
