Just had a quick look at the first and slowturtle was obviously on a kamikaze mission or wrongly read you, possibly - i don't know because i haven't seen you in action - because you had been raising a lot pre-flop and thought u were bluffing 'again' . Nicely worked on that anyway

yes you do but they can all mix there game up so not so easy to read. but you do have an insight to whether there naturally aggresive or passive. i think this is the case at all levels though.

for some reason i can't get the hand history from the other hand , had 44 hit set on flop, the other guy had kk we ended up all in for 4k so was a very good little session. time for a beer and the garden.

Thanks for the thread mole feel quite tingly reading through them

I don't think the previous hand was worth the call tbh, he was way overbet the pot, and you do only have TPTK, 5 handed? Quite possibly good but is it worth the risk? $4,600 is a lot of money to call with


Btw, where do you play? I wouldn't mind jumping on the mole bandwagon and giving you an extra audience member

You can't be "scared money" at any level ..... the only consideration is how much it costs you to call as a proportion of the pot compared to the chance that you believe you have of winning the hand.....

why call the PF raise and then just call the flop and not CR when you hit TPTK?

you are either ahead or behind - by check calling are you hoping to hit another Q or just check call the hand down to the river? and if you believe you are behind then why call at all?

i was wary of starlesses hand, possibly couldve re raised the flop, hence the reason i came out betting on the turn, when he re raised me the alarm bells were ringing but still felt i had to call TPTK. but on the river he killed the hand. i showed strength in calling his re raise, but he showed major strength with his bet on the river. i just had the feeling of aa or kk at that time thats why i folded.

Ah I understand that mate alright, was talking that the $4,500 in relation to the average man's salary but mole's getting the job done.


Could be seeing him on an episode of High Stakes Poker soon enough if he keeps it up. $50 into that bankroll is just crazy though, have a buddy whose done something similar, think he's at $70k after losing 30 in a week, 15 of that being lost on a flopped house vs. quads
