I have started monitoring my play a lot more, at the moment using POker Office.

I have played 500 hands over past few days on the $0.25/$0.50 tables.

I am currently $0.15 up. By my calculation I will never be a millionaire.

Good job rake back comes to about $9

You probably know but you can read absolute zero into 500 hands. 25,000 hands you start to get a bigger picture but even great players can break even over that time easily if they get some bad luck.

As MMM says, wait till more hands have been played to get a better picture.
