New Zealand attack after the kick off and almost make it 4-3

82m Adelaide 4 - 2 NZ Knights

Adelaide should have been 5-0 before new Zealand scored and hard to believe the scoreline...Surely NZ wont score again MFC and you will win your bet.

Aaah the joys of betting on football

Get all your teams up in a succession of multis up until today and then have to wait around all day for Queensand and Adelaide to play and hope things go to plan.

Then Adelaide do the right thing and win as they should

But Queensland put in an ordinary game after they have been quite good this season so far

And hopeful very good returns turn into nothing

Well there is always next week in the life of a punter

The Knights made quite a few changes to their team and they made a difference as the Knights played pretty well and may trouble some teams if they keep playing in the same vein (which may lead to more unpredictable results)

What did you think of the Melbourne effort last night Miguel?

I actually got myself a really nice Melbourne Victory jacket last week at the game and am very happy with it

I missed it mate, I was at the Rugby down at the Dome, sitting with the radio on sen watching the Aussies win, it was a great night. The way I see it is Melbourne showed they are real contenders for the grand final early next year, their win was not without luck but it is a far strech from the Melbourne who played last season to come back, away, from 1-0. Might have to download the game today and have a look. It's interesting that Sydney seem to be so poorly prepared for this season and while most teams have moved forward they seem to have dropped a step back, I think alot of it is Butchers influence, he is trying to much to make a hard team out of Sydney when Sydney were last year a skillfull (sometimes dirty) fast paced team. I see a lot of value in Perth next week to roll sydney again.

I got a bit trigger happy and had a fair bit on Melbourne straight out, only a bet based on hope, and I am a happy camper now!

Good stuff Miguel...I have been over estimating Sydney and it has cost me three weeks in a row and you are spot on about them i reckon as far as how they are playing.

Melbourne were great odds if you wanted to have a go at them because they have been playing well all year and it was a great come from behind win in a stadium that has been a fortress for Sydney.

All in all it has shown Melbourne has a bit of heart and are going to be hard to stop...I think Adelaide is looming as their main danger, especially once Romario gets into the team and Fernando Rech comes back in.
