Aaron, I have been every WHU game this season home and away and ive been thinking all week it will finish 2-2 so had a tenner on at 14/1. Looked like I was gonna let you lot down until Deano popped up with a screamer on 88 mins

Hope you were all on.

Well that's it for football betting till September.

Sorry, too late and not useful now

I dont understand your bets in the Spanish League

Almeria in a safe position playing against Recreativo in a live-or-die match for them

Murcia, already relegated, playing away at Pamplona against Osasuna, also live-or-die match for them

And Levante, already relegated and with so many financial problems (players haven't been paid for the whole seasons)... anything could have happened here

If u were looking for underdogs, Mallorca, Recreativo and Zaragoza were good choices

That would have been mine and your choices, still, I would have been happy with just the Napoli pick.........

Pop in his thread, some good and logical picks, based on stats. Limited number of bets, safety play. In Spain he didn't do well, but if you check further up the full post, the higher stakes are well picked, the smaller ones (again based on stats) are what we would call a surprise. I guess he wasn't surprised in Naples - the team won vs almost every top team in Serie A at home - at those odds for HW he only needed another ''surprise'' to make it a fantastic weekend. I will follow his thread much better next season as in the final stages he was trying to use every over - priced game, based on his stats. I simply guess Mallorca, Recre and Zaragosa didn't fit in his matrix. Not much to guess really - these teams' away record and Zaragosa's home one were not good enough vs better opposition before the game. Statistically that is....
Great work

Would you have posted if I had a result on these matches.
Siena got a result at Inter with nothing to play for.
St Ettienne almost obliged against a "must win" PSG
Dotmund did not lose against a "must win" Armina
Naples defeated a "must win" Milan.
H Berlin had little to play for and won.

All the above were opposed by the soccer "expert" on this site.

In betting you rarely make money by following the mob. And this weekend despite some results I secured a profit. The end of season creates strange situations and odds But analysis by several sources suggest it better to back the team that got nothing to play for in the long run.

Thanks guys!

Great pick too WHUPUNTER for the 2-2 score draw. Sadly I took the 1-1 due to the recent history and high number of 1-1s between the sides. That was one of my losers but I'd only factored it in to a few multi bets for small money so didn't lose so bad. Just a shame that I hadn't taken your tip though.
