Mine for this weekend then folks:

4pts Leeds to beat Gillingham @ 1.98
3pts Rochdale to beat Shrewsbury @ 1.8
2.5pts Oldham (DNB) to beat Crewe @ 3.00
2pts Wycombe to beat Bradford @ 2.2

And finally - although it pains me to say it as I don't reckon much to these sort of rumours - oddschecker's price history looks too "suss" for someone not to know something...

1pt Bury to beat Accrington @ 2.6

GL all...

Hope im not a curse for you after man city last week!strange match?,but i think only palace out of the 3 will definetly win.i expect wolves and watford to win but with late goals and wba will probably draw.
i;d say wolves 1-0,watford1-2,palace 2-0 and wba 1-1.

Coventry to win @ Charlton @2.74 Betfair.

I like the look of this price, coventry have 1 last chance of saving themselves against a very ordinary charlton side who will be fielding a few fringe players as quoted by Pardew in papers today.
I saw charlton @ qpr 2 weeks ago & they were awful.
Even the loyal away fans were gettin restless.
Charlton havent beaten coventry in their last 5 meetings & charlton have only won 1 in the last 6.
I.M.O all this points to a coventry win.
Good luck heres to winning much monies!

Given that I am the world's most impatient gambler ever I am only thinking about Saturday bets. 2 weeks in a row I have had a correct bet and I quite fancy my absolute cert for this week to come off.

Bankers with a £10 stake (accumulator)
Man Utd
vs 80s pop group Wham
Villa vs Wigan
Blackburn vs Derby
Motherwell vs Celtic
Forest
vs Yeovil (where on earth is Yeovil?)
£42.11 with William Hill.

well they're my home team, and im going to watch the game, so it's kinda of a case of making the game a bit more exciting.

but yeah, i think they are in with a decent chance of winning, since they're playing already relegated wrexham. lincoln can score plenty of goals, and i think they'll want to give a good performance, although im slightly scared of the draw. but hey.

Soccer Re: Weekend Bets: May 2-5

£1 stake:

Reading v Tottenham
Middlesborough v Portsmouth
Bolton V Sunderland

Return = £65

- Definately not a sure thing with tottenham being very up and down, having drawn their last 4 games at 1-1 this should also be considered or jus the simple draw, but going buy the talent il say spurs on this one. Then pompey, never to sure with them, go through long runs of in form then out of form, however boro are scraping results of late. My main bet for the weekend for the weekend is sunderland at a very poor Bolton side. Sunderland go for 6/1 on Bwin so may be worht a single.

£1 Stake

Aston Villa V Wigan
Blackburn V Derby
Man Utd V West Ham
Bristol V Preston
Palace V Burnley
Stoke V Leicester
Notts Forest V Yeovil
Southend V Port Vale
MK Dons V Morecambe

Return = £20

Fairly convinced with the prem games and league 1 and 2, its just the championship im not convinced with, guaranteed upsets on whats going to be a good day of football. Burnley away at 6/1 shouldnt be ignored, with palace feeling the pressure holding onto the last spot.

£1 Stake

Fulham V Birmingham
Newcastle V Chelsea
Blackpool V Watford
Scunthorpe V Colchester
Brighton V Swansea
Hibs V Rangers
Motherwell V Celtic

Return = £250

A longshot with this bet, all away teams is never easy, especially when you pick col u and watford. Watford hav poor form, and col u are not having the best year, however being a col u fan myself i think we can win this one if Sheringham plays, with his footballing mind against a shaky scunny defence holes could be picked.

My final main bet of the weekedn is a treble off the following:

£10 Stake

Aston Villa V Wigan
Southend V Port Vale
Leeds V Gillingham

Return = £45

I think all these 3 home teams will win, however as we all no football is a funny game.

Hope to hear what you lot think as this is my first post, good luck for everyones bets, some good idea which i have used myself.

Cheers

I have a series of bets for this Saturday, they are:

Aston Villa v Wigan - Villa to win 2-1, Petrov to score first @ 100/1

9 fold - Villa, Brighton, Crewe, Leeds, Southend, Hereford, MK Dons, Rochdale, Stockport

Treble - Roque Santa Cruz any time scorer v Derby, Middlesboro v Pompey to be under 1.5 goals, Aston Villa on the HT/FT market

4 fold and permed as trebles - Blackburn to beat Derby 3-0, Fulham to draw 2-2 with Birmingham, Bolton to beat Sunderland 1-0, Robbie Keane to score any time against Reading

None of them huge stakes with total outlay of less than £10 but just for a bit of fun this Saturday!

Good luck everyone! I'm off with Villa mate to watch Villa v Wigan, have a good one!!
