Default value bets

hi folks, im new to this forum but have been reading a lot about finding value bets. eg. how a teams actual chance of winning/not losing fairs in relation to the odds. what is the best way of determining this. are past results between the 2 teams reliable, or recent form etc? any help would be great, cheers

Default Re: value bets

Recent form is very important.Be careful to distinguish between home and away form though. Also look out for team news and suspensions, injuries and new signings can be very important.Previous matches between the sides can be quite useful but I do not feel it is that important. Here is my method for finding value bets.I print out a list of all the matches in the Premier League,Championship,League 1 and League 2.I then write down what in my view the odds for the favorites should be basing my decision on the points mentioned above, team news, recent form etc.I then compare these odds with the bookies odds and from that you will be able to spot the good value bets.Hope this helps
