Well, I'm sorry, but loyalty has to come first here, although with my betting head on I will also plump for Stockport.

Dale have a six hour head start on Stockport, but, played an extra 30 minutes, plus penalties, and may also be hit hard by the sending off of David Perkins, for which he picks up a FIVE game ban as it was his third dismissal of the season (personally they should stick a game on for a frivolous appeal)

During the league, Stockport held the upper hand, winning 2-1 at Rochdale back in November and 2-0 in March at Edgeley Park.

In their last ten games (including the play-offs), Rochdale have Won 6, Drawn 3 and lost 1 scoring 19 goals and conceding 10.

On recent form, Rochdale just about hold the upper hand as in their last ten games (including the play-offs), Stockport have Won 5, Drawn 3 and lost 2 scoring 10 goals and conceding 7.

Both teams will, of course, be fired up, but I think Stockport have come out of their mini-slump, have the tighter defence and should edge it 1-0. I also think Stockport will apply the same tactics as against Wycombe, grab an early goal and fight to the death to hold on so I'll take Stockport on the HT/FT also.

Bets:
3pts Stockport County to win @ 13/8 (Coral)
3pts Stockport County to win by one goal @ 3/1 (Bluesq)
1pt Stockport to win 1-0 @ 7/1 (Various)
2pts Stockport HT/FT @ 7/2 (Coral)
2pts First Goal 16-30mins @ 11/4 (Bluesq)
1pt Liam Dickinson First Scorer @ (a standout) 7/1 (Paddy Power)
1pt Dickinson/1-0 @ 33/1 (PaddyPower)

No-one else wishing to share their views on the final domestic game of the 2007/8 season, and arguably, the most important (of course)

Hello guys I`d be interested to hear peoples thoughts on this game, I had a treble on Hull,Doncaster and Rochdale @ 20/1 with Skybet last week.

Do I back Stockport and Draw? is that the best way to lock in Profit? or is there a better way?

If you don't have Betfair account then yes, I assume that's the only way. ... if you can get access to Betfair then you can do the following.

Do you mean that you had them to be promoted or to win in 90 minutes?

If the bet is for 90 minutes then you will have to cover Stockport and the draw. If the bet is 'to be promoted' then lay Stockport in 90 minutes. That way if the game finishes in a draw and Rochdale gets promoted you could win twice. If Stockport win, then it gives you some cover for your original bet.

Thanks for the response DJ

Yeah I have them to win in 90mins. I don`t have a Betfair account so backing Stockport and the draw to lock in profit is the way to go for me.

Thanks again

The 2.36 for Dale to get promotion looks tempting, they appear slightly weaker than Stockport, but not quite that much weaker.

Small stakes only as I haven't seen Stockport in action.

Indeed, but Rochdale can be very strong on a good day!

Stockport have been the 4th best team in L2, and should win today at decent odds.

Ive gone 1st goal before 30 mins and over 35 multi corners @ 9/2

Both teams like to attack so should be a good end to end game

Im sorry but both teams are evenly matched so the value has to be 9/4 Rochdale win I would have marked it up 5/4 stockport 7/4 rochdale
