I like the look of both Kilmarknock and Hibs away. Killie travel to Motherwell who are bottom of the league and been struggling plus this is typically the games in which Killie do well in. Hibs after good wins against Rangers and Gretna slipped up big style at home to Falkirk losing 1-0 last week but travel to newly promoted St Mirren at the weekend and have the attacking quality to get back on track.

Saturday

Inverness v Dunfermline

Inverness go into this game without a win at home this season, and as always their best form is to be found away from home. That said, Dunfermline have never beaten them in the SPL and have taken 2 spankings in Inverness on their last 2 visits. Dunfermline have yet to score away from home this season, and have just 1 point from 12. However, they have hit a decent run of form in recent weeks, with wins over Kilmarnock and St Mirren and a tight defeat away to Champions Celtic.

Inverness have some value here, but I would steer clear of this one.

Motherwell v Kilmarnock

Motherwell have had a dreadful start to the season and find themselves 4 points adrift at the bottom after only 8 games. 4 defeats out of 4 at home, only 2 goals and 9 against does not make pretty reading. Kilmarnock, as is their style, have been quietly plugging away without anyone noticing them and currently sit 5th. They have won 2 and lost 2 away from home, although they have picked up only 1 point in the last 2 games against strugglers Dunfermline and Inverness.

Motherwell have to turn the corner soon, but Kilmarnock should be too strong here. AWAY WIN

St Mirren v Hibernian

A mid table clash as 6th play 7th. This will be an interesting game as these sides play with opposite styles. Free flowing Hibs should have enough talent to run all over St Mirren, but if they get into a battle like last week they may struggle. Their records are pretty much equal so this match is probably best left alone, (gut feeling is that Hibs will sneak it though!)

Celtic and Hearts should both see off their opponents, but Aberdeen may be worth backing on AH. Their odds are far too big for what is a grudge match!

Good luck all...

Just been reading on the BBC website that Hibs will be missing both Kevin Thomson and Scott Brown who are both suspended as well as defender Rob Jones. Both Thomson and Brown are key players for Hibs and I may leave them alone now. Killie will also give a late fitness test to Naismith who has been their best player last season and this one also and would be a huge miss for Killie.

I am taking GLASGOW RANGERS (1.40)
The attackign duo Prso + Boyd should "do the job" against weakened visitors.

Aberdeen defender Karim Touzani, who was in the Dons squad for the big match against Rangers at Ibrox tomorrow, has been ruled out for six weeks by a recurrence of a hamstring injury.

The Dutchman joins Richie Byrne, Steve Lovell and Jamie Smith as the injured absentees from an Aberdeen squad which goes up against Paul le Guen's Light Blues tomorrow aiming to bust a 15-year winless run in Govan.

Dons manager Jimmy Calderwood will have to call on his younger players.

He said yesterday: "Losing Touzani is a massive blow especially as he was back in the squad for Sunday. That's the second time he has injured the hamstring now.

"He was running with Jamie Smith and the two of them looked in great shape. Even when the players had Wednesday off he was in working hard but he suffered a recurrence today and will be out for six weeks.

"With Lovell, Byrne and Smith also missing it means we will again have a lot of young lads on the bench. As good as the players may be I would have rather had my experienced players available for Sunday, especially at a difficult place like Ibrox."

Despite the absence of four key players tomorrow the Aberdeen manager remains confident his side can end their long run without a victory at Ibrox.

Calderwood added: "Rangers had scares at the start of either half against Molde in the Uefa Cup on Thursday but they deserved to go through.

"It was another game for Barry Ferguson as he tries to regain his match fitness and it was a massive result for the club as it secured qualification for the group stages.

"On the other hand, it was a really intense pressure game for them and we don't know what the game will have taken out of them yet.

"We will find out, though, as we are going down to Ibrox to win."

The Dons manager's confidence stems from his side's performance against Hearts at Pittodrie on Sunday. Even though they lost 3-1, Calderwood was delighted with the display for an hour and believes there is much more to come from his side - especially as recent signing Lee Miller is nearing match fitness.

But Aberdeen isn“t bad. They have the same balance like the Rangers 3-3-2 and sit only one playe behind Glasgow in ladder. Aberdeen is unbeaten at home with 2-2-0 balance,a good balance for the away side in my eyes. But glasgow is unbeaten at home 2-1-0 ..

The odds of 1.35 - 1.45 are too less for me. It smells like a draw or a nobet.

Boyd starts on the bench. I still think Rangers should have too much for the Dons today. Not backing them, as the price is terrible. Rangers REALLY need the three points today.

You mean Rangers I presume... not Glasgow.

lol

Glasgow FC

Agree Rangers desperately need the win and probably have the ability, but Aberdeen always put up a brave fight and Rangers are the Inter of the SPL you don't know what they'll do from one week to the next.
Not so sure the rotation policy is working yet for Le Guen.
Aberdeens injuries will hamper them attack wise, but they are the best defensive side i believe.

Non-bet for me, might keep an eye in play

Yeah, I think Aberdeen drew twice at Ibrox last season, they always raise their game against the Old Firm. Rangers have started well, made a few chances that Boyd would have tucked away, if he had started!!!
