What about the game a few weeks before that trouncing and Motherwell won 1-0 away at Parkhead? Motherwell have 3rd place and a UEFA Cup spot to go for?

Rangers look a big price at 1.8 If they had bn put out of the UEFA cup on Thursday then I would have been lumping on hibs as I thnk Sunday would have been the start of the fatigure turly setting in and costing Rangers points. As it is the fact they scraped through to the final will have given them a boost. Couple this with the fact that Hibs are missing key players in Nish Beuzelin and Gatheussi through suspension and missing Hogg and zemmama through injury then I think Rangers will come through this tough tie with all 3 points.

I pray this is the game which fcuks up my coupon

No value in Celtic at 1.53 I would be wary of lumping on in the handicap as well. Fir Park is always a tough place to go, the surfarce is farcical and Motherwell need points as they are going for the final UEFA spot.

Celtic must win to have any chance in the title and it is a game they should win on the back of their recent Old Firm wins but at 1.53 no value in it for me.

Gd luck to all with your bets

I fancy Hibs a bit at 5.30 - I don't believe Rangers can perform 100% after playing 120 minutes on Thursday night in Italy. Also there may be priorities coming into Rangers thinking now about what is the main target for the season. There must be a temptation to consider winning a European trophy as the main priority. Rangers showed some poor form in the Scottish cup taking pens to beat a lower league side. Hibs and their fans must sense they have an opportunity today to cause a surprise.

The problem is SS Hibs have players missing through injuries and suspensions with Beuzelin, Nish, Gatheussi( Hibs fans may see that as a boost ) Hogg and Zemmama. Rangers will be on a high after their midweek exploits and can bring in guys like Boyd who is a goal machine in this league but is used only sparingly. Also guys like Novo and Dailly can come in and Cousin who don't always play the 90 mins in games so must be fairly fresh.

Marty - you are damn right with that post on several fronts. As a Hibs fan I am delighted to see Gatheussi out , but the loss of Nish will be difficult to take. Boozy hasn't had a good season, so last year's player of the season is not a loss, but Hogg and Zemmama out will be a blow.

I expect Boyd to play in the SPL games and I would have him in my team every week (despite my Gers mates saying he has no workrate and can't lead the line, hold the ball up, etc). He proved in the CIS Cup Final what he means to the team. He'll play and score and win Gers the title, in my opinion.

Hibs do have to win to push for 3rd place, but I just don't see my team beating Gers. Don't even see them getting a draw.

Have had a punt on Dean Shiels scoring 1st goal £5 @ 14s. He has done so in the last 2 games for Hibs away at Aberdeen an Dundee United.

Beasley is tipped to make his return after a 5 month lay-off today. If he plays he couls cause hibs some real problems down the wing, and he is one player who will not be drained after a long season as he has spent most of it on the treatment table.

Alexander
Broadfoot
Weir
Cuellar
Papac
Novo
Davis
Ferguson
Thomson
Dailly
Cousin

Thats the team. No Boyd.

Under 2.5 goals looks like a decent bet today.

Al Rangers need is the 3 points. IMO, this will be their toughest match left of the SPL campaign....
