Default Rangers v Gretna Handicap

Sorry no sticky up for this weekend's games yet so thought I'd put it here until moved.
Rangers(-2) 6/5 Sportingbet against a fast imploding Gretna looks a bit of value.
Rangers winning well with clean sheets most recent weeks against Gretna who since they shipped out a load of players in the January transfer window and replaced them with young loan deals have conceded 12 the last four games to average Motherwell/Hibs/Hearts/Morton.

Manager Irons and assistant Collins jumped ship to 1st Division strugglers Morton early this morning (drastic move down maybe tells it's own tale) ......Unpaid players possibly in admin by tomorrow may be pretty low in morale and Ibrox isn't the place to go in that frame of mind.

Agree with Gazzy, Rangers (-2) at 11/10 on Betfair should come in, with Gretna's management team jumping ship to first division Morton morale will be low with unpaid players and impending administration. Rangers on the other hand will have been boosted by their progression to the last 16 of the UEFA Cup in midweek and I can't see Gretna scoring so 3-0 and above looks almost a cert.

Another team in a mess at the moment is Hearts, their form has picked up a bit of late but they will have been rocked by the news of last seasons top goalscorer Andrius Velicka being on the verge of a move to Norwegian side Viking Stavangar and he won't be involved tomorrow. Midfielders Andy Driver and Michael Stewart are both injury doubts aswell. 3rd placed Motherwell are a much closer-knit squad and club and edged Hearts out of the Scottish cup a few weeks ago at Fir Park and at evens look decent value to repeat the feat.

For me today the best bet is Hibs at home to ICT.

Mixu Paatelainen is getting the team playing much better in the last couple of games, 2 good home wins and are now unbeaten in 4. Steven Fletcher is bang in form as well wiht 4 goals in the last 2 games. Hibs also beat ICT 3-0 in the Scottish cup at Easter road last month.

ICT havent won in 5 games, and only 1 in their last 7 (against whipping boys Gretna). I cant see them improving on their poor away record today.

Hibs are up to 5th in the table, and will see this as an ideal way to consolidate their top 6 position with ICT just 2 points behind them. 1.83 available on Betfair.

Steve.

Reasoning Hibs are finding form again under a new manager and they won convincingly against Aberdeen last week. Their strikers are firing and they beat Inverness 3-0 last time they met in the Cup.

ReasoningCeltic have racked up the goals in recent weeks putting five past Kilmarnock and Aberdeen before a further three were added against Hearts. The January transfer window means places that were taken for granted are now up for grabs which has added a sharpness to the team with Barry Robson and Georgios Samaras pushing for starting spots. Celtic won 5-1 here earlier in the season before the Buddies came to Celtic Park and got a point which has damaged Celtic's SPL defence. Revenge will be on the cards here and Celtic won't rest on their laurels with options from the bench now plentiful.
