Oops, didn't see it here the first time.

Scotland FA Cup
Soccer - Brechin/Hamilton - total Over 2½ (-101)
for the regulation time held on Jan 28 at 2:45pm [pending]

I think the good odds reflect the 0-0 they played at Hamilton on 1/12...but this time they play at Brechin, with the first-division Academicals having to visit a second-division club's field after failing to win the match on their home turf.

League stats:

Brechin 8 of 11 overs since the first of December, 21-14 goal differential in 11 home games.

First-place Hamilton have a great home record, where they play airtight defense, but on the road it's a different story. In 12 away games they have a differential of 24-17, with overs in 8 of the last 10.

Adding:

Soccer - Gretna - spread -1 (-101)
for the regulation time held on Jan 28 at 2:45pm [pending]

I don't see any reason why Gretna shouldn't win this game...Morton having all sorts of problems on the field and off, and Gretna can use a break from getting hammered weekly in SPL...and actually their performances of late haven't been so bad.

Agree with the gretna pick ATT

Morton were woeful on saturday.
Gretna have been playing better these past couple of games and their game on saturday was postponed so they are 9 days since playing wheras Morton have only hd 48 hours rest.

Yantorno missing is a big blow for gretna but i can see Kenny deuchar scoring for them (cannot find first goalscorer odds anywhere though )

I also fancy hamilton away to brechin.Hamilton are leading the 1st division and on their day play some very nice stuff.Brechin at home are no mugs but now that hamilton are available at 2.05 i will have a go at them.

I fancied Dundee United tonight at juicy odds but this game has just been called off due to Tynecastle being waterlogged.

For tomorrow I fancy an Old Firm double. Alot of people are expecting Celtic to slip up but I think they have the mentality to go to Fir Park and take all 3 points- mind you given the games played there this season that game might end up in jeopardy too. Rangers will have a bigger fight on their hands I feel and think it will be much closer than the league game. One advantage may be the Hampden surface which should be in good nick but Hearts when they put their mind to it can ping the ball about well too.

I'm staying clear off Rangers vs Hearts because we don't know how serious Walter Smith is taking the league cup.

I do however fancy Celtic to beat Motherwell in the SPL tommorrow night.

I fully expect to see a full strength Rangers team here, Smith will want to deliver a trophy in his first full season which would give them a boost going into the title run-in. Hearts are one of those teams who on their day can make life difficult for Rangers and got a morale-boosting win at Pittodrie at the weekend. I'd expect Rangers to nick it 1-0 or 2-1 but at a best priced 8-13 it could be a no bet.

Big game for Celtic, a tough away game when we can't afford to drop any more points. We were terrible on Sunday although its always a difficult game at Falkirk in what is a tight, narrow pitch. Fir park is a bit wider and our flair players Nakamura and McGeady will have more space to operate in. Motherwell can play aswell and have been flying this season ( 5 2 3 at home) and are capable of scoring, this one could easily go over. New Celtic signing Georgios Samaras is in line for his debut.

I'd expect Celtic to take the 3 points here but at 1/2 I don't think its worth the risk against the strong hosts.

how big a factor will phil o'donnells death be in tonights game? its a meeting of the 2 big clubs he played for, I believe?

with motherwell playing well under mcghee and the above, i agree that there isnt any value in a celtic victory here.

The Motherwell v Celtic game is now off, fallen victim to the heavy rain up here.

Re alliando, i know the Celtic fans were planning a display in Phil's honour and it would have been a special occasion but with Motherwell having a few games under their belts since the tragedy I don't think it would have/will be a major factor in the re-scheduled game.
