| Hello all, A couple of thoughts here on the weekends games. Firstly although the odds are only around 1.47 I still feel Stranraer will beat bottom of the table Forfar. Forfar's away record this season reads 2 2 7 while Stranraer's home record represents 6 2 3. Forfar have been struggling this season and with Stranraer having the home advantage along with better form, I believe they shall win this game. Secondly, I think Peterhead may be worth a small punt against Alloa. Peterhead are at home with a record of 6 0 5 which basically shows the outcome of the game depends on what Peterhead team show up at the Balmoor stadium on Saturday. If the team whom has been so successful at home shows up then I can see them winning the game to leapfrog Alloa into fourth spot and in contention of promotion. Goodluck with all bets ![]() |

| Clyde at home to Stirling Albion is the standout game here for me. Clyde appointed former Rangers defender John Brown as manager last week, and were unlucky to lose to league leaders Hamilton, leading 2-0 at one stage. They have brought in a number of players during the transfer window to strengthen their squad, and they'll now be looking to pull clear off the play-off's. Poor Stirling are one of the more entertaining teams in the league, but have struggled to turn draws into wins, and tomorrow is probably last chance saloon for them if they are to avoid a swift return to Division 2. Unfortunately for them, they are missing four of their best players in Bell, Cramb, Devine and Jay Rodriguez. I think Clyde will shade a nervy encounter, but given the weather up here I would advise against backing anyone too heavily this weekend. |

| Big game for my own team Clyde against fellow strugglers Stirling, If we win we would jump above Morton to 3rd bottom and next week we play Morton away. There is a good feel round Clyde now with John Brown quickly appointed manager and brining in no less than 5 players in the space of 2 days something Colin Hendry failed to do since last summer. Of the players signed Pat Clarke from Cowdenbeath looks the most promising he plays up front and has a good strike ratewith beath they weren't too chuffed to let him go. Gibsons Billy & Jimmy have also signed in midfield along with ex-Motherwell player Shaun Fagan. Shaun & Billy should do a job for us but Jimmy isn't nicked named 5 bellies for nothing and would be surprised if he made much impact. Campbell is the last player coming on loan from Killie and again I've heard mixed reviews about him. Dougie Imrie has left Clyde to join ICT but to be honest I am glad to see him go. As for the game itself we have put in 2 good performances in the last 2 games against Hamilton & Dundee and would expect us to contine this with an important win over Stirling. Elsewhere I fancy Peterhead to get the best of Alloa. Its more of a gut feeling then anything else as the 2 teams have been very inconsistent of late and Dumbarton in the 3rd are also fancied by their fans after an impressive game against Stranraer but one in which they lost 2-0. Again its hard to make much argument for them. With the weather gonna make most games like watching polar bears play penguins I can't really recommend any stand out bets this week.

| I had circled the Peterhead-Alloa game for goals, but given the weather I might just give it a miss.
