Aberdeen will now play Hamilton after it was discovered Brechin City had fielded two ineligible players in the replay against Hamilton.

Michael Paton and Willie Dyer both played for Brechin in the replay even though neither was registered for the clubs before the first tie (which ended 0-0 forcing the replay). This is a stipulation of the SFA rules.

Brechin have concequently been eliminated from the tournament allowing Hamilton to take the place against Aberdeen on Saturday.

The Motherwell - Dundee game is already off, and there will be an early inspection at Ross County.

Only Celtic away to a struggling Kilmarnock side sticks out as a stick on, but with snow/sleet/rain expected over Scotland tomorrow afternoon, conditions will be difficult and so even they may be dodgy.

Well fancy Celtic -1 in the morning, maybe even Samaras to score one, and with McGeady back I feel a big win. I feel maybe a 3-0 or 4-0.

For me today it has to be QoS at Morton. Purely going on h2h record QoS have won 3 and drawn 1 of their last 4 visits to Cappielow - including a 3-0 win there a couple of weeks ago.

Morton are really struggling for form just now - other than a win against the whipping boys Stirling and a freak result against Gretna they have lost 6 of their last 8 games and have only taken 9 points at home all season.

QoS have hit a bit of form just now, winning 8 of their last 10 and have been good away from home all season.

At 2.64 I think Queens are really good value

Steve.
