Good old East Stirling are on the way back. 2 down at Arbroath within 6 minutes on Saturday, they look like a team to oppose again. Last time at home to Stenhousemuir they won 5-0 though Stenhousemuir are a bit of an iffy side, but I'd take them to beat East Stirling here.

Derby day in the lower leagues! In the first the games at Airdrie, Clyde and Queen of the South are all derby games as are the games at Brechin, Raith in the 2nd and Arbroath in the 3rd.

Totally agree with you there on Stenny, dmckeelfc. It was actually Albion Rovers that East Stirling were playing but readin match reports and the views of neutrals at the game East Stirling were very poor and didn't start to play until it was far too late and they were 2 down pretty quick. Stenny gifted Berwick 3 goals in the first half last time round before putting in their best performance of the season in the 2nd half and were unlucky to get beaten after hitting the woodwork twice with the score at 3-2 Berwick. Stenny have also added midfielder Fagan on a months loan from Motherwell who really should be playing at a higher level and he scored and hit the bar against Berwick. McBride will also be back for Stenny although Templeton is likely to miss out again. Stenny will also want to make up for the surprise 5-0 defeat at east Stirling earlier in the season and can't afford to fall further behind in the race for promotion.

Elsewhere in the 2nd may look at Stranraer away at Ayr. Ayr have lost the last 6 in a row and had one shot on target against Morton. Stranraer are nothing great themselves but did beat Stirling 2-1 on sat. Raith in the derby against Cowdenbeath could also be worth a look. Neither team are performing that well of late but Raith with a new manager in charge won 5-2 against Peterhead on sat while Brechin beat Cowdenbeath 4-2.

Alloa v Stirling in the 2nd Division. Stirling will be without 2 players who were dismissed on Saturday, one of them being their first choice keeper. On-loan striker Shiels has also gone back to Gretna. Alloa are currently priced at just over 3/1 at Betfair. Might be worth opposing Stirling this afternoon.

airdrie seem value not to lose here. There is a big shift in league table and form and this may catch the bookies out. Hamilton have no wins in six, though five have been draws. Cover the win with the draw chance, Airdrie for their part are improving and have a recent 4-2 home win over gretna to show.
Arbroath and brechin could be a nice home double, aaginst two poor travelling sides.

Does anyone have any info on the Partick squad as their last game was called off because of a flu epidemic. I was wondering if they still had players missing for todays game because I already like the look of Clyde @ EVS but if Partick are missing players through flu again, that price will be looking like a steel against a very tight clyde team who tend to nick alot of 1-0s.

something smelt very fishy about that Brechin game. They let me down for 1200points. They conceded a penalty early in the 4th min and then they concede a penalty in the 90th min to make it 2-2 in 90th min. Im sorry but there is definately something up with that game. I bet alot of people had money riding on brechin from the previous new year day accumilators and would have needed Brechin to complete the accumilator like me. I can take defeat but not like this. Something has definately gone on in that game, but we wont ever find out.

Don't agree. Haven't got match stats but I don't think Brechin threw it either.
