Looks like there are some goodies on offer this mid-week. I'm a karaoking but i just have to get the ball rolling.

Firstly Stranraer should have enough ammo to blitz 'Beath who have probably gave up any hope this season after their disappointing draw on Sat. They were lucky to get that infact and i can see a fairly easy night for us Strannies.

I'm a Dumbarton fan and took them at home v Hamilton a few weeks ago in which they won 2-0. They were lucky by the reports i read and have great home form but not the greatest away form. I would like to see the away win but nah Hamilton will win and move back into second place (forget how they did on Saturday)

So i'll have a Stranraer/Hamilton double and keep up my fine run which even Rafalek would envy

Anyone fancy Clyde away at QOS?

A copy of my report from Saturday

I went along with BIG MAL THE MINDER to Airdrie v Alloa myself to see what he was rattling on about regarding Airdrie and here is my findings.

Airdrie started the game with long punt tactics to a front two that won ziltch. Alloa were far more comfortable on the ball and scored after about 20 mins with their first (and last) shot on goal.Alloa did control the game tho Airdrie did create and miss about 5 chances winning 6 corners this was the pattern until 5 mins from half time when one of the new players Willie McLaren scored twice. This player is only 19 and VERY fast and tricky.
In the second half Airdrie controlled the game totally and .
missed 3 or four more easy chances and hit the bar from 3 Yards when it was easier to score. On the plus side for Airdrie Midfielder Dunn was good and strong, McLaren was tricky but faded and got over complicated as the game went on, and the right back of Airdrie has to be the worst Player I have ever seen (In fact the whole Airdrie defence looks ropey!)
Airdrie won (And the Mongoose single)and deservedly so but an equaliser was always a possibility I would be wary of betting then on this form.I would not be adverse to betting on Alloa they will win more than they will lose.
Corners Airdrie 10 Alloa 1
Shots Airdrie 11 (7 on Target) Alloa 1 (1 on target)

Will be going to another Lower league game next week and report will be posted hope it helps.

PS
Komp I would mabye fancy QOS v Clyde to finish All square and likewise Morton v Airdrie....Add the Quarter Final replay and there you have it a chestful of Drawers

Ive had a quick scan of the midweek games and Stirling obviously catch the eye. They're heading for div2 although they are suffering a "slight" blip at home. I feel they have way too much for Elgin who are pathetic away from home and at home!! Im thinking of doing STIRLING/STIRLING Half Time, Full Time @1.5. Anyone got any opinions on this bet??

stirling should have far too much for elgin.

I have in a treble just touching evens at interwetten

albion 1.3 to bt e stirling
stirling to bt cowdenbeath 1.22
west ham to bt wimbledon 1.25

All should really do the biz.

I would have been tempted to take Airdrie Mongoose due to their recent form and the inspiration of the young Willie McLaren. Morton were lucky to get their first win of the year away at Stenny on Sat BUT...

Morton v Airdrie United

Table-toppers Morton could have three players back in contention for the meeting with second-placed Airdrie Utd.
Midfield brothers Marco and John Maisano, plus striker Scott Bannerman, return from suspension, but striker Warren Hawke is out injured.

Young striker Willie McLaren should retain his place in a relatively unchanged Airdrie line-up.

McLaren scored twice in a 2-1 win over Alloa that kept Airdrie five points behind Morton.

If i could get 2/1 or more on Airdrie i'd change my mind and have some but if not then NO BET.

I really liked Hamilton but with this...

Hamilton Accies v Dumbarton

Former Reading midfielder Stephen Laidler could make his debut for Dumbarton after signing until the end of the season.
The Sons are also waiting on clearance to play Norwegian Bjorn Skjelered as a trialist after claiming their eighth home win in a row on Saturday.

Another three points could see them overtake Accies, who could be unchanged, in third on goal difference.

Jim Sherry is an injury doubt along with fellow midfielder Jose Quitongo.

Nah NO BET but i'll be shouting on The Sons.

Still really like Stranraer though.

Cowdenbeath v Stranraer

Cowdenbeath striker Presley Orhue has been ruled out for the season with ligament damage.
And midfielder Steven Stewart has had his loan spell from Dundee cut short, but defender Innes Ritchie returns from suspension to face Stranraer.

Stranraer are unlikely to make many changes despite the disappointment of losing the lead in Saturday's draw at home to leaders Stirling Albion.

Victory would take Stranraer two points clear but with one extra game.

Albion Rovers v E Stirlingshire

Midfielder Jim Mercer could return to the Albion Rovers side after missing Saturday's draw at Cowdenbeath with a calf injury.
It was a more promising performance from the third-bottom side who will be expected to brush aside rock-bottom East Stirlingshire.

But Rovers boss Kevin McAllister insists that Shire are a tougher prospect than their position suggests.

Shire, without a point in 10 weeks, will give several players late tests.

Have to agree with the Albion fans out there and take them at any price. Would like to get handicap odds on them as i fancy them to win by at least 3 clear goals.

Stirling v Elgin
Elgin will be missing a couple of players i believe and Stirling Albion will be wanting the 3 pts to stay top of the league.

I might have a wee ht/ft double also like advised above on Stirling and Albion but things won't work that way as the crap teams tend to get an early goal and leave the table toppers chasing the game. Then the top teams get 1 before ht and then 5 from the 70th minutes onwards.

Sod it im going for HT2/FT1 on BOTH games (EStirling and Elgin) and add Airdrie tw in a wee Trixie.

Also a fairly large Stranraer/Albion double.

Good luck sportfans!

Sod the almost champions league this is where the moneys at

ALBION/STIRLING double.
East Stirling yet to win away and still have just five points(ok everybody knows this)
Elgin much better than East Stirling but not much expect Stirling to win easily.

I would much rather win a little than lose on nearly champions league

I must agree with you komp on Stirling & Albion (I presume thats what you meant)or are you going for Elgin HT Stirling FT? & East Stirling HT/Albion FT added with Airdrie? What odds are you getting and which snake are you planning to skin?

I think i was trying to say Elgin/EastStirling HT, Stirling and Albion FT (HT 2, FT 1) in singles. Probably get 40/1 somewhere.

Would like to back Airdrie Mongoose but at 6/4 with my local Hills i shant be. (i nearly backed Morton @ 5/4:o )

I havent went for it though as i had a panic attack in the bookies and couldnt ask for the ht/ft list. Just took Stranraer, Albion Scunthorpe and chanced Hamilton. 6 x 5pt doubles, 4 x 2pt trebles, 5pt accum.

Good luck

Cheers Mr Mongoose

I must say i am on a roll at the mo with 3/3 last Tuesday. 5/6 @ the weekend (inc 9/2 ICT) and now 4/4 (thanks Football Analyser)

Thing that bugged me tonight was my mad crazy line which included the above and St Johnstone, Darlington and Lyon but it's nice to be in the winners enclosure so soon again.

Your competitions usually interest me Mongoose so please do. It's gonna be a long hot summer this year on PL.

Does anyone have a list of all the EMAIL addresses to contact the Scot's Club Sites? Gonna get this place flooded before the end of the season. I'll go make a start.

Cheers Runar and Second. I seem to do ok this time of year when there is a bit of form and teams are playing for something.

Just chatting to a local Junior footballer who should be posting his Junior picks this weekend. He should be a good acquis..acwisi...should be handy to have about.
