cannot look beyond rhyl tonight - newtown have lost 9 of their 13 games, and rhyl are on a decent run of mainly home games. I cannot see newtown winning (barring sendings offs or similar), a draw is a possibility but Rhyl should win easily if they attack Newtown.

Rhyl to win - max stake.

Rhyl and TBS double looks tasty to me; For the others Let's wait for experts's toughts

Bangor v Porthmadog

Following Bangor's cup heroics in which they beat Llanelli 1-0 on Saturday I have to back them at home to beat Porthmadog. Bangor have already won at the Traeth when Davenport was in charger earlier in the season 2-1 and although Bangor have struggled of late they have managed to win their last 3 in all competitions including 2 home league games. They have a young side who're maturing nicely and they can take advantage of a Porth side that have lost their last 2 home games. Carl Owen missed their last game and again the burden of carrying the attack could fall on ex Caernarfon striker Jason Sadler.

Bangor 8/10 @ 2.0 bet365

Caersws v Cwmbran

Caersws lost to the Druids last weekend but that was no shock for me as the Druids have pulled away from the relegation zone. That is not applicable to Cwmbran and they are in danger of being cut adrift from the rest. Caersws haven't performed as well as the could've done lately dropping points all over the place. Cwmbrans results have improved but they're still a poor side heading for the drop for me. The game at Cwmbran was a 2-2 draw but the bare facts are that Cwmbran have won only 1 in 17 and haven't won away since mid September. All being well this should be a home win for me.

Caersws 8/10 @ 1.72 centrebet

Connahs Quay v Port Talbot

Port Talbot make the long trek up North to the Capital of Deeside and providing the journey hasn't taken too much out of them I fancy them to return South with the 3 pts. Connahs Quay occupy the place above the drop zone and because they've struggled to score goals in their home games they're in danger of the drop if Cwmbran start to pick up points. They haven't won in 3 at home and dropped lost to sides they'd of fancied beating in Porthmadog and Caersws and even drew with Cwmbran in a huge game for the two of them. Port Talbot have only won 1 in 7 away lately but sme of those games have been tough ones. They proved their worth last week when beating whipping boys Cardiff GQ 5-0 away and the Nomads are a better side than them but not by too much. The Steelmen to win this by the odd goal in 3 in a tight affair.

Port Talbot 4/10 @ 2.25 expekt

Newtown v Rhyl

Rhyl are fancied tonight to come back from Mid Wales with the 3 points. Roger Preece's Newtown side have lost 7 in a row at home and must love it when they head away from Latham Park. Lesser sides than Rhyl have come away from Newtown with the 3 points and this looks a very good bet tonight. Rhyl won the reverse fixture at Belle Vue 3-1 and have only lost 1 in 5 away and that was a 1-0 loss at TNS where they didn't look out of their depth.. They need to win this game to overtake Welshpool and get into the European qualifying position of 3rd and I see no reason why they can't get their rewards.

Rhyl 7/10 @ 1.8 centrebet

This league never fails to shock me.
I wanted to back Carmarthen but I talked myself out of it and the fcukers go and beat the champions elect TNS 2-1! I could've had 10's!
Bangor lose 2-1 at home to Porthmadog! WTF!?
Cwmbran win 2-1 away to Caersws, great win for them but a shock for me.
Rhyl ease to a 4-1 win, looked the bet of the night and so it proved and Port Talbot win 1-0 on Deeside which is a great win and a pick i'm more than happy with.

That's TNS' first defeat in how many!

I often think that if you fancy an underdog, in a mid-week match, you can count the "mid-week" factor, as another stat in their favour!

35 games unbeaten they were. Great performance from TNS and a great win for Carmarthen.
TNS's last defeat was away at Bangor City in March 2005.

Caernarfon v Llanelli

Llanelli make the long trip up north to the Oval to play Caernarfon tonight and its a Caernarfon side that have improved of late and they won't be easy for Llanelli. Llanelli will be looking to bounce back from their 1-0 loss in the Welsh Cup Semi Final to Bangor. They have won 13 of their last 14 league games and their professional status is starting to provide dividends. Caernarfon return to the Oval following 4 trips on the road which yielded just the one loss at Rhyl 2-1, no disgrace there. With Rhyl breathing down their necks Llanelli know they need to keep their focus if they want that runners up slot behind TNS and with the quality they have in their side, they should be too good for the Cofi's. Interesting to note that Llanelli haven't drawn a game at all in the league all season, cue a draw now tonight!!

Llanelli 6/10 @ 1.75 centrebet

Comfortable win for Llanelli, 3-0.
Nice midweek profit in the end.
Now for the weekend.
