West Ham have drifted on betfair out to 2.28

I tipped up pompey last week, but in all honesty, it was a late wondergoal from Mendez that got them out of the shite. In a game the really needed to win, they were seconds away from failing. OK, so that should have boosted confidence in the camp, but look at their away record, it's shocking. 2 wins and 1 draw from 15 away games this season, and it hasn't really improved since Redknapp went back there.

The hammers may well rest a couple of players today, but I don't believe Pardew will rest too many. Looking at the league table, I'd much more fancy their chances of getting into Europe via the league, than winning the FA Cup.

West Ham at 2.28, yes please!

There was a massive write up in the paper the other day about Pardew resting his players for todays game.
Basicly Robson and Bruce were both asking for Pardew not to field a week team fearing that a pompey win will open the whole relegation battle up.

Im having a sneaky bet on Pompey who will still be bouncing after last weeks win.

Im not touching us (Blackburn) at those prices. 8/11 at corals yeah we should win having beaten them twice this season and I can see a home in but not at odds on.

Ill have a do at Villa also they did everything right against us last week bar putting the ball into the net.
They should have been 4-0 up in the first 20 minutes and the only 2 goals came from goalkeeper errors.
Witha similar performance I think they can nick this.

also Spurs away for me to keep there CL drems alive.

Everton - Aston Villa

Everton have great run at home in last couple of matches.
In last one they beat Fulham 3-1.
Their home record in total is 7-1-6.

Aston Villa on the other hand have 4-6-5 record away.

I see these two sides as pretty much equal despite Everton's good form lately.

In first clash between these two teams this year Aston Villa won at home 4-0.
Last year match at Gudison park finished 1-1.
I think sometihng similar we can expect this year also.

I'll try draw here again. Everton have just one draw at home in 14 games and I think it's about time for another draw.

My picks are Draw, betfair@3.5, 3/10,

and 2:2 exact score, betfair@24 1/10.

ReasoningChelsea with their tight defence are low corner conceders. Against one of the lowest corner winners at home, this can go under the 11 mark.

I can only mirror what everyone else has said for the Everton v Villa game. Everton are doing well lately with 20 points from the last possible 27 and Villa are missing Baros and possibly Angel. I've gone for an Everton win and a smaller amount to cover the draw.

Good luck all whatever your plays.

Southgate/Mendieta/Hasselbaink/Downing out of the Boro squad has pushed prices on Blackburn down to 1.75 on Betfair. Also every man and dog have tipped Blackburn in the Racing Post, as well as Crystal Palace.

All 4 I expected to be dropped yesterday, 3 of them are no spring chickens.

I expect Ehiogu/Viduka/Adam jinky Johnson and possibly Morrison to replace them. They are no quite as good, but all sound players who will be keen to show the heroes of Rome what they can do.

There is now value on laying Blackburn at 1.75.

I have nothing against Blackburn who are a good side and who I have bet to finish top 6 last week, but they are not Chelsea and will not just keep on winning at home there will be blips, if not today some other day this season.

I am going for the negative fan approach again, I fancy WBA to get something out of the game today as they are fighting for their lives and Utd have nothing really to play for.

Today I fancy Blackburn and Bolton both to win comfortably.

Bolton should have no problems beating Sunderland for the obvious reasons.

Blackburn's home form recently has been very good and I think middlesbrough will have a euro hangover.

Good Luck All

West Ham V Portsmouth

Pick Portsmouth @ 2-1 with Paddypower

Altough this does not make great value as Pompey are 7/2 on average to win away games this season.

But Alan Pardew is resting players and making a lot of changes to his West Ham Team, Including a Premiership debut to a goalkeeper.

Its now or never for Redknapps Portsmouth, and I reckon they may be able to keep momentum going on from last weeks win over Man. City.

I reckon Pompey, by a goal. 0-1? 1-2?

ReasoningBirmingham will play against Liverpool on Tuesday night in Fa Cup and is struggling to hold a Premier League spot. On the other hand, Tottenham is struggling for a Champions League spot. Troubled Birmingham will miss David Dunn, Jiri Jarosik, Muzzy Izzet, Julian Gray nad Chris Sutton meanwhile Pennant is strggling to overcome a calf injury. Birmingham is playing pretty poor at the moment, they were very weak last weekend when they defended almost whole game against WBA. Still, they scored only two goals in five games. Today, they will have even more problems, without Duff, Sutton and co. I doubt they will even score. On the other hand, Spurs fancy their chances for a Champions leagus position. Of course, this goal won't be easy to achieve as they have Arsenal, Bolton and Blackburn just behind them. Tottenham will play today with the full squad. They are doing good at the moment, they played good against Chelsea but lost 1-2. They were very unlucky as Gallas scored a screamer in 92nd minute. Today, I expect
Totenham to win, Birmingham is just poor... Their situations described their coach, maybe the best descirption of them: ``I haven't seen so many people perform so poorly for a long, long time." Tottenham Spurs to win 0-1 would be a great reflection of situation in both teams.
