| One thing you have to dismiss here is Arsenal's away form. Why? In big matches like this, how many times have you seen their form go out of the window? Man Utd weren't given a prayer of beating Chelsea, on form they couldn't, their midfield was poor, yet they won 1-0 - all because big matches are very different. Obviously need to see the team sheet first, but I hear Toure is back tonight and that is a big boost. If the team sheet is good enough Arsenal @ 4.10 is massive, gigantic and enormous rolled into one. |

| My bet for tonight is; Lay Liverpool 2.2 @ Betfair I just think this will be a very tight game and could well end up a draw, but by Laying Liverpool i get Arsenal on my side aswell so it seems value to do that. Liverpool cant seem to score goals and Arsenals defence is a worry but you can never write off Arsenal going forward and that sways me in thier favour.

| Im going to go with the figures for the Under 2.5 goals. Liverpool 5 from 5 in the last 5 homes. 7 from last 8 unders in total. Only conceded 5 home goals all season. Arsenal, 5 from 5 in the last 5 aways. 5 from last 8 unders in total. Only scored 9 away goals al season. 76% of Liverpools games have been 0-2 goals. 64% of Arsenals games have been 0-2 goals. Looking at these figures I think the unders should easily be 1.5 so Im more than happy to take the 1.68 available on Betfair. |

| Arsenal are a massive priced agreed and liverpool are hardley setting the world alight. this game has got 1 goal in it and who ever scores that goal will win IMO. I think Arsenal can nick it if they keep Gerrard quiet. If you played this game over and over agian youd get a different result everytime. fuc knows my head is thrashed and If I was going for Value youve gotta go with Arsenal at 5/2 no other time will you get those prices on the gooners. no bet for me as a neutral but IF Iwas to pick a bet then Id go for the Under 2.5 and Arsenal to nick it. |

| Liverpool v Arsenal Both teams not in the best of form, but Liverpool had the better result at the weekend - a 1-0 win over Wigan away while Arsenal were held at home to Bolton thanks to a last minute equaliser. Arsenal look very shakey at the back but Toure and Evoue are back from Africa but Reyes is out and Van Persie is not fit and Bergkamp has an injury aswell. Crouch is still a doubt for Liverpool so Fowler should start again. Arsenal have only won 1 in 4 premiership games and with Liverpools tight defence everyone is predicting under 2.5 goals. However I think this will be a high scoring affair, Arsenal are shakey at the back and despite Liverpools problems in front of goal of late I think they will overcome this problem tonight and with Henry for Arsenal I would expect them to score atleast once, I think Liverpool will win this one by the odd goal. Liverpool 7/10 @ 2.15 pinacle Over 2.5 goals 10/10 @ 2.45 bet365 Last edited by tonysoprano; 14-02-2006 at 17:32. |

| All the indications are that this could be a low-scoring match. Premiership games involving Liverpool this season have yielded fewer goals than any other club - just 48 in 25 (31 for, 17 against). Arsenal are the lowest scorers away from home of any team in the top half. They're not even into double figures (nine from 12). They've also conceded on average just one goal per game on their Premiership travels (12). Furthermore, Henry's not a big game player. The other interseting stat is that no liverpool striker has scored in 2006, in the league. Very tight game 8 points under 2.5 goals 4 points no goalscorer |

| Difference of opinion on this match but Im going to be pretty boring. Liverpool to beat Arsenal - 2.20 Betfair Both teams may not be exactly firing at the moment but Liverpool can grind out a win far more easily than Arsenal. Arsenal's away record is diabolical meanwhile Liverpool's home record is simply amazing this season. They recorded a solid 1-0 away win to Wigan at the weekend and back at Anfield here I really cannot see Arsenal getting anything from this game. I predict a home win and am on quite big. Liverpool to win. Correct score 1-0 or 2-0. Gerrard to score first. ![]() |

| Fowler is up front with Morientes tonight, not sure if they can work together but it has potential with the big un and little un theory. Good luck to all betting in a game which can easily go any way. |

| Anyone think Wigan can get a draw tomorrow? There a gritty side and definatly capable, but I'm thinking that although Spurs will obviously wanna grab the fourth spot or better I have a small/stupid theory! Being a Man U fan I have seen so many times when a rival loses the night or a few days before the other team often fails to capitalise. Whever or not this is due to a mental thing where players think pressure is off a bit or what I don't know, but it does happen all the time, especailly with Man U (like when Arsenal used to lose and give Man U a chance to catch they would not get a result, vice versa etc). Just a thought!

| Anyone think that taking Blackburn AH-1 is good value at 11/8? Rovers have proven hard to beat at home and Sunderlands away record speaks for itself. Rovers also hit 4 past Man U at home, and with Pedersen set to return tonight look good for winning by at least 2 goals. |

| I'm almost tempted to have a little play on Sunderland tonight. Blackburn have lost their last 2 in feeble fashion, bringing their good run to an end, a 2-0 defeat at WBA, and Saturday's 1-0 loss at Everton, playing against 10 men for 80 minutes. Sunderland got a good point on Sunday, and are playing better than at the start of the season. No bet for me, but if I had to be forced I would go for Sunderland as Blackburn are too short. |

| Think Blackburn will get back to winning ways tonight against a very poor Sunderland side. 1.48 @ Centrebet is fair enough. Have money on McCarthy to be next boos to leave present club so a bad defeat tonight could seal it.
