Reasoning Strangely or not I think Watford will win this game today. They will get relegated, no doubt about that, but they always give 100% and play for their crowd. Man City won against West Ham in a similar match, but they are safe from relegation and I doubt they will be that much motivated to win today.

FULHAM-BLACKBURN

Fulham are the worst team in the league over the last 10 games. They are 8 straight without a win and lost last 3. They sit just 3 points in safety above Charlton. After 3 straight losses, Blackburn turned it around in mid-week when they won 3-1 against Watford. Previous meeting this season ended in a 2-0 Blacburn win. It is a tough game to call really, Blackburn are slightly favorites for me but Fulham at home could get something. I do however think we could see goals.

Score prediction: 1-2

Pick 1: Over 2.5 goals - 2,08 @ Expekt (2/10)

WEST HAM-EVERTON

West Ham have lost their last 2 games and find themselves 5 points behind Sheffield in the relegation battle. Everton are chasing a UEFA spot and are unbeaten in their last 7 games, finding themselves in 5th place 5 points clear of 7th/8th teams. I think West Ham blew their last chance to stay in the EPL after their loss against Chelsea. Their last hope is that Charlton win against Sheffield while WH win as well, that would leave them 3 points behind. But to do that they need to win today, and they don't seem to respond to well when they are under a lot of pressure. Everton has lots of motivation as well, they are chasing 5th place in the league.

Score prediction: 1-2

Pick 1: Everton - 2,75 @ NordicBet (2/10)

ReasoningBolton need a win to get closer to a European spot. They are under pressure and cannot afford to lose points. They are not in their best form however Reading seemed to have settled for a mid-table finsish.

BOLTON-READING

Bolton are in 6th place, same points as Everton in 5th, 5 points above Pompey and Spurs. They have failed to win their last 2 games. Reading are 9th and are looking to end the season in the top half. They are unbeaten in ther last 2 games. Previous meeting ended in a 1-0 Reading win. There is no doubt for me Bolton is the more motivated team. Reading have secured their EPL status and will only look to end the season well. Bolton's desire to play in the UEFA Cup next season will see a HW here.

Score prediction: 2-0

Pick 1: Bolton - 1,85 @ NordicBet (3/10)

MANCHESTER U-MIDDLESBROUGH

Banker of the weekend? Maybe. United are still 3 points above Chelsea in the race for the title. They have only lost 2 games in their last 10. Middlesbrough have more or less secured their status with 7 points down to Charlton, but I don't think they would mind getting another point here.

I couldn't belive seeing Sky Sports predict a 4-1 win here! There is no doubt that United are big big favorites, but look at the history of last 8 league games: 3-2-3 H2H at Old Trafford! And add to that fact that Middlesbrough pushed United all the way in the FA Cup this season. Another fact is that United have CL next week, however this could be of little importance as Ferguson has stated that he would settle for the Premiership this season. So I think there is no value at all in a HW as I think they could struggle, but I do think they will win at the end. But there are more fun bets to try.

Score prediction: 2-1

Pick 1: Middlesbrough/United (HT/FT) - 35,00 @ NordicBet (0.5/10)

Tottenham over 2.5
Spurs have a very poor record against the Gunners in this noorth London clash, however both teams have much to play for. Spurs need a win to keep their UEFA Cup hopes alive while Arsenal need a win to stay in front of Liverpool for that 3rd spot. Both teams have had problems defending and have conceded quite a few goals more than normal while Spurs and Arsenal in their last 2 games have both been scoring freely. With alot at stake there should be a few goals in it.

Only 1 bet today and it will be Fulham -0.25 @ 2.05 canbet with 5/10 stake.

Quality they are not different and perhaps Blackburn are better. But motivation all points to Fulham. And I think today they will win by 1 goal. Sorry for bad previews, but I'm in a rush. G'luck everyone.

Charlton win
3 wins and a draw from their last 4 home games set this match up well for Charlton as opposed to Sheffiled Utd who have lost their last 8 away games and have failed to score in their last 4 away games. Charlton are 18th and are 2 points behind Sheffield Utd so both teams have plenty to play for but Charlton has come into a bt of form and should have enough to win it.

Bolton win
6th placed Bolton play 9th placed Reading who have gone off the boil ater their very good start to the season. Bolton need to win to mantain their UEFA Cup hopes while Reading don't have much to play for except to stay in the top half, which would be an achievement for them in their first game in the top flight. Some key injuries to Lita, Murty and Little don't help Reading's cause in this game.

Fulham over 2.5
There should be a bit more life in Fulham when they play their first home game after the sacking of Coleman. They are in 16th place and need points to stave off any relegation worries while 10th placed Blackburn still believe they have a chance of getting a European spot. Blackburn have gone over in 9 of their last 10 games and 4 of their last 5 away games, so there should be goals from both teams here.

Liverpool -1 (EH)
Expect Liverpool to rotate their side with an upcoming Champions League clash with Chelsea on their mind. This game should be similar to Liverpool's midweek game against Boro: pretty uninspiring performance from Liverpool with several change reducing the fluidity of their attacks but still doing enough to get the win while Wigan have several players out due to injury like McCulloch, Unsworth and Hall. Still with their imposing home record, Liverpool have the class, even on the bench to win this by at least 2

In comparison in the last 7 sheff utd have played: Liverpool, Everton, Chelsea, Bolton, Newcastle, West Ham and Man Utd. All but newcastle are challenging in europe and west ham we battered so imo it's a bit of a false statistic really looking on recent form.

Sheff Utd were playing great picking up points went 10pts clear of relegation then ran into this set of fixtures and were dragged back in it, it's not as if we've 'blown up' as the west ham result showed - our 'easiest' match for 2months. Just relaying the facts.

Can i just also add that Warnock now knows as highlighted v Man Utd that when we play with two attacking players up front we look like scoring goals, so don't expect the usual 4-5-1. Warnock will have the troops fired up for an attacking battle.

Great added info Nade...like it!

I am going for the Spurs Arsenal over 2.5, the Bolton Reading Home win, and the Man Utd / Liverpool double.

The over 2.5 seems a quite possible in the North London derby, with a lot of Spurs games going over.

I think Bolton will beat Reading, but don't like the current odds (Betfair 1.85). I'll be monitoring in play to get something closer to evens, assuming there isn't a quick goal for Bolton.

The Man Utd / Liverpool double some folk suggested seems to make sense given the reliability of both big 4 teams at home. Could be a nail biter if Liverpool have a first half like they did at home to Boro in midweek.

Charlton hosting Sheff Utd.
Lot's have been said about this game, everything is known. Charlton is two pts behind their rival today and must win this game and for the moment get out of the relegation zone.
Tough game is expected and I believe in the end Charlton should prevail and take all 3 pts in front of their fans.
1:0 or 2:1 are my thoughts, so I will play Charlton to win by one goal, bet365 @4.00. GL~

Arsenal have Diaby and possibly also Fabregas out. It's a though game to call, but even with King back he isn't 100% match fit yet. I think this game will see goals but it's hard to predict a winner...note that Spurs have only 1 clean sheet in last 10, Arsenal 2 in last 10!

Reasoning MU will have CL game this midweek and we shouldn't forget this. I think 1 goal win will be enough as long as 3 points captured and the distance with Chelsea become 6 points. Rio Ferdinand, O'Shea and Evra are back and this will certainly streghten United's line-up especially at defense. I also believe that Sir Alex would be wise enough to save his key players for the big showdown against AC Milan in the midweek. I can't see him pushing Ronaldo, Rooney and Giggs too hard in this game.

Moreover, we all know M'boro can pick up their game against big team and be a stubborn team. Just like what they show on the FA Cup matches last time, it was not an easy game for the United's player. H2H also speaks to itself about M'boro attitude against Man Utd.

10.03.2007 FA Cup M brough - Man Utd 2:2

Yes out of those LONG LIST of H2H, Man U only win by more than goals TWICE !! And I think this pattern will continue. I believe Man Utd will win this but not by more than 1 goal.

Predicted Score : 2 - 1

wow +0,13 points profit from todays premier league. Oh well didn't loose money at least, that is the main thing after all. Too bad Middlesbrough defended like crap at the start, could have made my United bet a lot more interesting otherwise. Hoping for more luck in tomorrow games.
