wot about middles-blackburn.I see a huge value on blackburn despite havicg 2 strikers out of squad. But George Boateng, Chris Riggott, Stewart Downing, Julio Arca and Ugo Ehiogu will not play for hosters according to BBC.I think these misses are very important names esp. Stewart Downing.Do you think that Blackburn can get 3 points

ReasoningLiverpool have very tight schedule. In last 9 days they will have third game and IMO today they can be tired a bit. Tottenham have played well recently, but have a lot of problems with finishing. They can't score, but today I think the situation should change and Tottenham will be able not to lose for minimum. GL!

Reading v Man U
Ladbrokes 5.5 Home Win
Does anyone think the price on Reading represents value as a small bet. Scoring goals for fun good players in the likes of Sidwell, Kitson and Lita. Can Man U stop the pace of Lita. Just wondered if anyone knew if Giggs and Van Der Saar are still out? Man U don't seem to function very well when missing Giggs if Reading can stop C.Ronaldo and Rooney then can see Reading getting a result. Man U have been conceding goals of late and look suspect at the back. I certainly wouldn't touch Man U these days with the ageing Paul Scholes and Fletcher type midfield players. Not in the same mould as when they had the fantastic midfield of Giggs Beckham Scholes and Keane in late 90's Just feel everyone builds Man U up to be this invisable team and a banker. I think if you took away Rooney they would just be an average side. Tempted maybe to have a small punt on Reading. Is it just me or do other people feel prices on Man U are really short for the squad they have currently with injuries?

Dont perform well without giggs tell me your having a laugh he missed at least 10 of the last games last season which man utd when on there best run of the season. there is not value in reading at 5/1 shud be more like 20/1

Fulham-Chelsea

The point earned away to Tottenham did little to improve the mood of Fulham fans, as their team is still facing a host of injuries, with captain and key midfielder Boa Morte being the latest addition to the list, that already includes Jimmy Bullard, Fulham’s by far best player this season. Important defender Bocanegra, forward McBride and midfielder Diop are all fresh concerns, but all could feature

Chelsea are coming off an extremely lucky 1:0 win to Liverpool, a win that helped them catch up with title rivals Manchester United. The team of Jose Mourinho, that hasn’t shone so far this season, will be without suspended Michael Ballack, but Arjen Robben should prove to be a worthy replacement. In form striker Drogba has an extra point to prove here, as he got laughed at by the Fulham fans after having a goal disallowed for handball last season.

With Fulham injury crisis and the title race being tight, it is hard to imagine any other result than Chelsea win.

Newcastle-Everton

Newcastle seem to be unable of creating a string of good results at the moment, and will try to bounceback from the midweek Liverpool defeat against Everton. Keeper Given is still out so Harper, who made a terrible mistake against Liverpool, will get another chance. Defender Babayaro is banned, but Taylor and Brumble both return. Attacker Ameobi will have a late fitness test, which isn’t the best news for coach Roeder, who is short of attacking options.

Everton are coming off a disappointing 2:2 home draw vs. Wigan, as they’ll feel they’ve done enough to win the game. However, the atmosphere is still good, as David Moyes’ man are still without a Premiership defeat this season and are looking great in all areas. Defender Alan Stubbs is the only absentee for the Toffees.

It is a match of two European contendors; with Newcastle being very strong at home and Everton being in fantastic form, another tight and exciting match is expected. Scoreless draw probable.

Manchester City-West Ham

After the midweek Carling Cup defeat vs. Chesterfield, there’s been a lot of talk in the media about City’s playing crysis. Manager Pierce claims such statements are false and that his team has only had a bad day, but it’s undoubtable that City have been in abysmal form in their league during the entire year of 2006, and Pierce could easily lose his job unless he gets the team going soon. Pierce is probably considering all sorts of lineup changes, and has all of his players to choose from.

The Hammers seem to be going through a mini-crysis at the moment, and in a recent interview, defender Gabiddon has admitted that star signings Mascerano and Tevez have disrupted the team a bit. The problems have been aknowledged by coach Pardew, who has urges his players to try to once again show the attractive and flowing football they’ve been showing last season. Defenders Mears and Collins are out for the Hammers.

City are well capable of delivering the goods at home, but same goes for Hammers away of Upton Park. With the stake being so high for both teams, we can expect a very exciting encounter.

ReasoningWigan lost to Crewe midweek in the cup but they didnt take that game too seriously and they know, today is a chance to get back on track. Watford have struggled since getting promoted and they have a tough task away to Wigan today. Wigans home form is generally solid and they really should have too much class for Watford today. EVS is a good price.

ReasoningVilla are a solid price to continue their good run here. Charlton have had one of their worst starts to the season ever whereas Villa have found a new life under Martin Oneill. Their home form is now pretty good and they should beat Charlton today.

Arsenal - Sheff Utd

Arsenal finally won in last game, and it was on most dificoult ground, on Man Utd soil.
Now they seem to have easy task as they will host weak Sheff Utd.
Odds are low as expected, but I fancy one bet with high odds on them, which is Arsenal X/1, HT/FT.
Arsenal so far haven't had the lead in none of their matches so far, and something is telling me that it might be the situation in this game also, but I see Arsenal scoring a couple of goals in second half for sure.
So I will risk and try this bet on Arsenal, betfair @5. GL~

Wigan - Watford

Two "W" teams facing eachother.
Wigan hosting Watford. Wigan had a great season last year in PL, while Watford just came from Championship.
Wigan should win this game and show to their rival how soccer should be played in Premier League.
Still, I fancy to LAY Under 1.5 goals, as I expect definetely more then 2 goals in this clash.
I expect an open game as neither of teams have the reason to play defensive.
LAY Under 1.5 goals, betfair @3.4. GL

Aston Villa - Charlton

Aston Villa hosting this year struggling Charlton.
Everything speaks out for an easy homewin, as Charlton boat is seeking, while Aston Villa this year resurected totally.
Still I will try to LAY Under 1.5 goals. Charlton so far conceede a lot and I can't see them not conceede in this game couple of goals also. They are capable of scoring aswell, which makes this bet trustable.
So LAY Under 1.5 goals, betfair @3.8. GL~

Taken Chelsea -1 and A.Villa -1 AH tonight. I guess a revenge would be sweet with Fulham have so many players injured. Even though Ballack is absent, I think we have more than adequate replacement to not disturb our play. And for Villa, I think they are going to win this match since they have drew their last 2 matches in EPL but both were played away. Home record this season is good, with 2 home matches won in EPL. So good luck tonight guys

Wigan vs Watford

Wigan a solid home side and Watford battling away in the Prem but I think Wigan can use the home advantage to get some needed points on board.
Evens is a decent enough price on the home win

Wigan 10pts couldnt hold the lead

Arsenal vs Sheff Utd

Fresh off winning a mammoth game at OT, the impact of which will effect the rest of the season imo.
Henry is back and so is Van Persie, I expect Persie to be on the bench with Adebayor and Henry making the headway up front.
The midfield looked classy against Manure, Rosicky, Fabregas, Silva et al putting in impressive shifts.
A much needed clean sheet as well will boost the defences confidence, Gallas and Toure looked great at the back.
I think Arsenal can kick on and win by a good few goals here against a Sheffield side missing 9 players i believe.
The -1 @ 1.66 is pretty pitiful though. I'll save this for the In-play, maybe dabble in the corners.

Man City vs West Ham

Two sides that will be keen to register a win, and two sides that concede and can score in almost equal measure. Man Citys' defence as of late has been pretty dire and I expect an attack minded Hammers side to put them under pressure. Man City and West Ham haven't really been firing on all cylinders so far this season, but i think we can get an overs game here despite that.

Over 2.5 goals @ 2.25 5pts always a bit risky,only 2 goals

Reading vs Man Utd

Saha is out, Arsenal just beat them and Rooney isn't near his sharpest, plus Giggs is out. Doesn't instill a great confidence in me that they can definately win at the Madejski.
Reading are in great form and have been the best promoted club by far and could put up a stern test here, a draw wouldn't shock me.
1.7ish on Man Yoo would normally be worth taking but I'm not touching this game

Fulham vs Chelsea

Fulham have two key players injured in Boa Morte and Bullard plus have other injury concerns in other players.
Ballck won't be a massive miss for Chelsea theres plenty players to fill his boots. Drogba is on fire and I expect the rest of the team to start showing a bit more in terms of goals.
Fulham have a fairly weak side this season I think, McBride their main threat and the midfield doesn't inspire a great deal, especially with the loss of Malbranque.
Chelsea should come away with the 3 pts here and win by a couple too. The odds on Chelsea -1 are too tempting to turn down.

Chelsea -1 handicap @ 2.3 10pts wahey!

4pts Everton +0.25AH vs Newcastle 1.92 Pointbet

Everton are on a good run of form at present and go to Newcastle who are missing their 1st choice goalie who as we saw on Wednesday is a critical loss. Andy Johnson is in great scoring form right now and with the likes of Cahill, Arteta and Beattie backing him up I think Everton have the firepower to bring something away from a Newcastle side who are nursing a few injuries.

Match: Newcastle – Everton
Pick: Everton +0.25
Odds: 1.877 @ Pinnacle
Stakes: 8/10

Analysis: Newcastle’s form could be described with one word – erratic. Some things however which have been consistent are their lack of bite upfront and a porous defense. With Johnson and Everton in superb form, I definitely fancy their chances here. Johnson’s direct running style and pace could tear Newcastle apart like he did Liverpool if they were not careful while the tireless running of Cahill would be matched by that of Bowyer. However, Everton has proved both very consistent and resilient both home and away and I fancy them to come away with something from this clash. The interesting handicap set out here cannot be ignored since Everton are the form team and the quality between the 2 squads I would say are even at least, if not in Everton’s favor. If Everton does indeed snatch all 3 points, it would not surprise me either.

I'm going for straight away win in Newcastle v Everton game. Newcastle managed good result last weekend vs Hammers, but Everton look like serious team, and they can make something today.

I have Everton @3.30, 4/10 bet

Reasoning Everton have defensive problems, David Weir and Joseph Yobo will have to undergo late fittnes test, but Moyes is hoping at least on of them will be ready to play.
With Alan Stubbs still sidelined , Moyes was left with Joleon Lescott and Mark Hughes.
There are also doubts over full backs Victor Anichebe and Tony Hibbert.
Also James McFadden, James Vaughan and Alessandro Pistone are out.

Newcastle will be without Celestine Babayaro, Nolberto Solano and goallie Shay Given.
Titus Bramble and Steven Taylor have retutned to training and could feature today.
Shola Ameobi is also waiting for a late fittnes test.

Both teams look weak in defense, Newcastle missing Given is a huge problem.
However both teams are very potent in attack, Johnson is on fire and Martins is able to outrun everyone on the pitch.

I believe that both teams will score today and we could see a few goals with all the defensive problems on both side.

Newcastle - Everton

Newcastle hosting Everton in this Sunday match of PL.

Newcastle so far two wins and 3 losses, while Everton is not yet defeated, 3 wins and 2 draws.

Newcastle at home is always a force, and they will look also in this game to win 3 pts with strong Everton. I think they can do it, but it won't gona be easy at all. Everton proved once again that they are great side, and I think they will prove that in this game also. Still they are without some players as Stubbs especially but also McFadden, Vaughan and Pistone. Doubtfull are Anichebe and Hibbert. But also home side will miss Celestine Babayaro, Nolberto Solano and first GK Shay Given.

So both teams will be a bit weakened especially in defence, which makes me confident about plenty of goals today.

So my bet is Over 2.5 goals, betfair @2.3. Max stakes.

And little try on Newcastle 2/1, HT/FT, Betfair@ 32. One unit. GL

Over 2.5 backers to lose today is very hard

Everton's Gary Naysmith injured. Nuno Valente is in for him. The 2nd half will have at least one goal. Newcastle to score looks easier.

Two red cards in 2 minutes. First Newcastle, then Everton. Not a clever move from Everton defender Hibbert. Everton could win in the last 10 minutes with one man more.

So many missed chances in 2nd half. Newcastle and Parker dominted the first 20-25 minutes but could not score. Everton dominated the last 20 minutes but could not score.

Now 90th minute.

6pts Portsmouth -0.25AH vs Bolton 1.82 Expekt

Pompey are absolutely flying at the minute. Bolton's away form is incredibly poor while Fratton Park is somewhat of a fortress for Pompey. Pompey have Fernandes, Kranjcar and Cole waiting to make their debuts if Harry feels it's necessary. For Bolton Kevin Davies could play but Stelios wil have a fitness test before the game.

I'm taking this handicap as I want some protection for the draw. Whilst I think Portsmouth will win, Bolton may be all out tonight to try and take some of the heat off Allardyce after the bung stuff.

3pts Booking Points 46+ 5/2 Stan James

Uriah Rennie is one of the worst referees going round and is never shy of handing out cards. Bolton use a physical approach to their matches while Pompey are no lightweights either. As a ref Rennie is very picky and not always right with his decisions. With the bung stuff around Bolton I expect them to be well up for it tonight which might lead to some strong tackling and a few bookings.
