ReasoningThe return fixture produced a 6-4 scoreline earlier in the season and whilst i wouldnt expect a similar scoreline to that, goals are on the cards. Spurs have scored in 11 of their last 12 games, the only blank away at Everton. They still have defensive frailties in the absence of King and with an attacking approach guaranteed from the home side, it should be entertaining.

Reasoning2 defensively leaky sides here - Birmingham have not kept a clean sheet in any of their last 12 games but on the flip side, have only blanked once during those games. Fulham with 2 clean sheets in their last 12, have shown more potency up front since McBride's return and the 3 goals away at Man City will boost confidence on that front. This is a must win game for both sides so dont expect them to sit back, especially in the 2nd half.

this is definately gonna need some reasoning, examples would be a good idea. You will get a better response with some evidence, also this possibly isnt the best place to bring this up, sends it all a bit OT.

Reasoning5 of Arsenals last 6 home games have gone under 2.5 goals, whilst ALL of Evertons last 6 away have gone under. If we take into account the absences of Arteta and Cahill, that is much of Evertons attacking threat gone. Arsenal will find the Everton defence a different proposition to the one they met at Derby earlier this week. At the odds available, unders looks value.

Have to agree with you here AK, everton are heavily relying on our defence right now, not only to defend but also to score goals. Yakubu and Johnson just aren't doing it at the moment and like you say with Cahill and Arteta out for the season it leaves us bare in creativity. Fernandes and Osman are likely to be the playmakers at the emirates, good but not in the same class or as influential as the two mentioned earlier. Arsenal will dominate the match in possesion and chances no doubt and we will look to counter, but i cannot really see us making an impression.. Arsenal looked threatening in every attack against Derby (no shock) but it seemed they were back to playing there slick free flowing football. Arsenal will have too much for us and i will take the price on the straight win.

Another point to add is that Villa lost today which leaves the blues needing 1 point for european football next season, i think this takes a little bit of pressure off this game with the final game of the season at home to Newcastle, i think this will be in the mindset of the players and may work in arsenals favour as everton may not be as focused as they know they dont have to take anything from this game! Obviously they will want at least a point here as any team would, but it is not a must win/draw match like it could have been had Villa won.

Sorry for the bad pick of Villa, I was at the game as a Vip in the Directors Lounge and wow, Villa were bad!! They just didn't look like they really knew how to get going. I think Petrov played awful, he seemed to be too slow and slugish every time that he received the ball. For some reason they kept passing the ball in the air to Reo-Coker who is a lot shorter than I thought he was! I'm not a Villa fan, I'm a Spurs fan as most of you so I was totally stunned by the poor play of Villa and the lack of crowd atmosphere! There was hardly any chanting except for the when the goals went in for a minute or so as the crowd tried to rally the team and then occasional chants for Mellberg who was playing his last game at Villa Park, disappointing all the way around. Anyhows I'm hating this end of season predictions thing as it just goes all wrong! That's why my stakes have been severley reduced so that now I won't lose anything. Hopefully nobody else made big losses yesterday.

No need to apologise Djlion, we're all grown ups (or we should be!) and if we follow a tip and it loses, it's more our own faults than the tipsters!

Arsenal -1 (EH)
Arsenal will want to finish the year on a high even though they miss out on the title. They showed how lethal they cna be with a 6-2 demolishen of Derby away from home. Now they meet Everton who have pretty much secured 5th spot and a UEFA cup spot after Villa's loss yesterday. Everton have a few players out injured and have been playing pretty ordinary in the last few weeks, so look to Arsenal to win this quite well in their last home game of the season.

Liverpool -1 (EH)
Liverpool will be very disappointed to have lost their midweek game against Chelsea but look to them to be given a huge reception by the Kop in their last home game for the season. While some of the bench may get a run they will still look to finish the season at home on a high.
As for City, with so many off field issues with their coach going on, this often distracts the team as can beseen in their recent form which is below what they showed at the start of the season. Their backline has been decimated by injuries, and with Fulham scoring 3 goals last week, then a Liverpool side should be able to score as many this week.

I understand what your saying, but you can't really expect Aliando to correct every person that lists a bunch of teams with no reasoning. Perhaps some of the rest of us should politely remind people if they want to list a bet with no reasoning which threads to do it in. I know personally I have no interest whatsoever in someone who just lists a load of results. I would never back teams based on that. I have however on many occassions read something from some of the tipsters on here that has convinced me to have a bet where I might not have normally.

Jump on the Newcastle handicap +1. Even if they lose they will not lose by more than 1!! Chelsea haven't won here for 5 seasons. Newcastle have been on form and Chelsea are not THAT good. I see a 1-1 draw.

Also Owen to score anytime is a very good bet.

Newcastle v Chelsea

People keep saying that newcastle are in good form an undefeated in their last 7 games but hear's the teams that they've played in their last 7:

West Ham (A) 2-2
Sunderland (H) 2-0
Portsmouth (A) 0-0
Reading (H) 3-0
Tottenham (A) 1-4
Fulham (H) 2-0
Birmingham (A) 1-1

In those games newcastle have not played anyone hard, those teams are in the bottom half of the table apart from portsmouth...

Chelsea's last 7:

Man Utd (H) 2-1
Everton (A) 0-1
Wigan (H) 1-1
Man City (A) 0-2
Boro (H) 1-0
Arsenal (H) 2-1
Tottenham (A) 4-4

5 wins out of 7.

Chelsea have to win...

Chelsea have the best away record in the premiership...

Chelsea players play best when under pressure, i think it will be a chelsea win...

4/7 - 8/13 are not a bad price for chelsea, knowing that they need a win.

Back Chelsea Lads!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Newcastle - Chelsea Today.
I think Chelsea will win today because they will not want to gift Man Utd title much rather make it go down to final match of season where anything & everything normally happens.
Chelsea havent kept a clean sheet in their last 3 matches so i expect them to do so today.
I have backed Chelsea 1-0 & 2-0.
To cover this i have also backed 1-1 & 2-1 Newcastle.
All small stakes 3 - 5 quid on betfair.
Any opinions appreciated & good luck to everyone!

You are spot on mate. I put Chelsea up as best bet of the weekend a few days ago simply because they have to win. Newcastle have put a solid run of form together but youre right in saying they havnt played anyone decent. They were one of the poorest sides ive seen at Upton Park this season and were very luck to get a draw. Chelsea will win this by 2 goals I think. Im just going for the single on them winning though.

So, why would that change today, just because the Title is at stake, yet they've pretty much lost it anyway. Newcastle are quite capable of a draw here, and the money will keep piling up on Chelsea. I have a good feeking that it will end a draw. It maybe one of those weird games were Newcastle go up 1-0, then Chelsea go up 2-1 then it ends 2-2. Just a hunch, but will back the draw and Newcastle not to lose.
