My team West Ham are the bet of the weekend in the Prem League. Fulham are a poor side and heading for relegation while West Ham still have a slim chance of getting into Europe. We normally do well at Craven Cottage and are a decent away side, playing well on the break. Our injured players are starting to return and although the last couple of results have been poor (to say the least) we should get the job done here at 2.80.

Newcasltle to win or lose @ 2.38 is my tip.

After United have a tough trip to Lyon they'll be knackered and Newcastle are due a result soon.

You sure you have that right? So you can cover Newcastle win and Man U win and for bigger odds than the Man U by itself.... I'm getting some of that!

Do you mean Newcastle to win or draw?

Newcastle to win or lose, would in effect be laying the draw, and you would get odds of about 1.25 for Newcastle to win or lose?

I strongly fancy unders in the City vs Everton game. Two team challenging hard for European spots, and two teams with solid defences.

53% of City's home games, and 61% overall, have been under, while Everton are 61% away and 57% overall. Decent enough stats for it, and then there is the fact that this is a game both teams will be as much interested in not losing as winning. City have gone under in 5 of their last 7, Everton in 5 of their last 6.

So its unders for me, if I can get anything better than 1.7. Currently the best available is 1.67, so will probably be a case of keeping an eye on the exchanges.

Aston Villa look outstanding at 2.37, Reading have had 6 losses on the trot and have lost there last 4 home games, put it simply, they are shocking! I agree Villa dont have the greatest away form but this one should be in the bag, they are pushing for europe and i expect a strong performance from villa to get the full 3 points

Man City v's Everton i think is a certain draw, Man City tend to draw against top 10 teams at home such as West Ham and Liverpool, whereas Everton are a good side, but Man City always hold strong at home and concede very few goals, im looking at either a 0-0 or a 1-1, bareing in mind neither team will want to loose this match

GOOD LUCK

Liverpool/Boro

Boro welcome back Tungay and possibly Huth. For the first time Southgate will have 4 forwards to choose from. Morale is high in the Boro camp after remaining unbeaten since New Years Day and only losing 1 out of their last ten away. However this will be the biggest test so far. Liverpool may have given up on the Premiership but will want a top 4 spot so have alot to play for, however I suspect their priority will be next weeks second leg in Milan. Liverpool have Carragher suspended and I suspect will rotate. Boro haven't won at Liverpool since 1976. Liverpool will come at Boro which will suit Boro especially if Tungay and Aliadiare play together

My odds

Liverpool 66%
Draw 24%
Boro 10%

There is value in laying Liverpool at present at 1.45 imo.

I have gone for correct scores 0-0 and 1-1 at 15.0 and 9.80. I suspect true chances are around 8% (12.5) and 12% (8.50) for those results.

While Pompey have drawn a lot of games at home this season, with everyone now back after the African Nations Cup they look in good shape to take care of Sunderland, the only side outwith the bottom three not to have won away from home. It is the Black Cats home form which will keep them up and this is a great chance for Pompie to close the gap on Aston Villa in the UEFA Cup Spot.
Home win @ 1.61

Wigan are another side relying mainly on their form at the JJB, a modest 5 2 5 record sees them hovering just a point above the relegation zone. Steve Bruce's men were unlucky last time out at Sunderland and with Derby being the visitors this is a must win game for the home side. Emile Heskey is expected to be fit and he is the focal point of the Wigan attack.
Home win @ 1.61

My 3 Homes for Saturday are all 8/13!! Portsmouth v Sunderland, West Brom v Hull, Leeds v Crewe. Solid bet looking at all three are at home against 2 sides that are low in their league tables and Hull only with 4 away wins in 15 games with just scoring 11 away goals against West Brom losing just once at home and netting 39 goals in 16 home games. Let me know what you all think even the away fans?????

Reading v Aston Villa Over 2.5 Goals @ 2.03 Pinnacle

Over the course of the season both teams have been quite overish, Reading 15-11, Aston Villa 16-10, it has been a change in stance in particular for Villa this season. Villa have not kept a clean sheet in the league since November and Reading since the start of October, therefore the odds are stackedon both teams hitting the target and helping create the over. Important striker Agbonlahor should be available and with his pace widens the options of the Villa attack. Reading find themselves in a relegation battle and they need to pick up points especially at home, they have been on a poor run of late but it will have been impressed on the players how valuable a win here would be.

Blackburn -0.5 v Bolton @ 1.87 Gamebookers

Quite simple for the reasoning behind this pick, Bolton's superb qualification in the UEFA Cup against Athletico Madrid must have left his mark and they only have 2 days restto recover from that rearguard action and the travelling. That sort of mark in this Lancashire derby should mean that Blackburn will need no second invitation to take advantage. Megson is considering rotating his squad after their midweek exertions, another signal of tiredness. Blackburn's captain Nelson is missing but he is replaced by Samba who returns from suspension.

ReasoningNewcastle have been bog corner winners this season - as an example, their last 6 matches have produced 17,15,15,11,11,12 with Newcastle themselves averaging 8 corners a game over that period. Man U td arent quite so prolific but theor corner production is satisfactory - 17,14,9,7,6,10 - an average of 10.5 per game.

Its a game that both sides could do with winning so dont expect a tight affair.

ReasoningA touch of value with this one i think. Sunderland have only averaged 3.5 corners in their last 6 away games and Portsmouth have averaged 5 corners in their last 6 homes. 8 of these 12 games have gone under 11 corners so 2.1 looks a good price.

ReasoningA hint of value here too. These are 2 sides with an attack minded approach - this game could also attract the over 2.5 goals backers.

Reading averaged 7.5 corners in their last 6 homes, Villa averaged 6.5 corners in their last 6 aways. Their games have averaged 11.83 and 12.5 corners overall respectively.
