Not many books out yet. But Bwin have posted Barrow at Evs for the trip to Lancaster, which is a mite generous. They also have Alfreton at 6.25 to win at Hucknall. The home side are clear favourites, but Alfreton are gathering some form and have signed well in recent weeks. Hucknall still concede too many. They came from 2-1 down at Gainsborough today but the home side had defender Nick Ellis in goal after Adam Sollitt was injured in the warm-up.

I'm away until tomorrow morning, so I have to get my takes in early. Probably advisable to wait for a better choice of prices. Apologies for some fairly brief notes. King's Lynn at home to Rugby Town (Evs, 3pts Stan James) The policy of opposing Rugby has been a lucrative one, and this is a big price for it to continue. I'd go 8/11. My brief look at King's Lynn yesterday suggests there is nothing fundamentally wrong with either the way they are going about things or team spirit. Jack Defty didn't start and Michael Frew was out injured, but even so I think they'll have enough to see off a Rugby side who have problems keeping any type of opponent out. I've Keeper Fahad Afandiyev seems to be in poor form at the moment. Harrogate Town at home to Farsley Celtic (11/10 Stan James 2pts) Town haven't had much luck in front of goal of late, though they have been playing well. Celtic have been getting the points without playing well. A very tough match in prospect, but I'd give Harrogate a bigger edge than this. Hitchin Town at Northwood (6/5 Skybet 1pt) I happen to think Northwood have a decent chance of getting out of the hole they're in - they have been competitive against Tiverton, Stamford and Wealdstone in the last three, but only claimed a point. But Hitchin are class: they haven't lost away since the opening day and are playing some thrilling stuff. The Northwood pitch was a mess yesterday, so that will be a leveller, but I think Hitchin will have too much. Eastbourne Borough at Lewes (9/4 Skybet 1pt) Lewes are in a complete mess with long-term injuries and played without passion at Fisher yesterday. Borough have a new niggles themselves, but they have only lost one in nine, a narrow defeat at Havant. Salisbury City at Weston-super-Mare (11/8 Skybet 1pt) I guess this is a purely instinct punt. Form wise, there isn't much between these sides, but I think Salisbury will be in better shape, even if they'll be Tubbs-less. Goals have dried up for Weston and the small squad is being stretched. Alfreton Town at Hucknall Town (3/1 Skybet 1pt) The 6.25 didn't last long at Bwin. I reckon Alfreton are turning into a game outfit, and are creeping up the table slowly but surely. Though Hucknall are rightly favourites for this, I think they are an overrated outfit and that Alfreton have a much better chance than the price suggests. (1-10 scale)

| Ships, although Lewes are in a big mess the chances are that Boro forward Scott Ramsey will be missing & with makeshift forward Andy Atkins injured & Pat Harding also unlikley to play, this only leaves Alan Tait, Wilde or McArther up front for a team that struggles to score.Added to that the fact Lewes are coming off a 5-1 defeat & the manager Steve King will want some reaction.. ![]()

Fair points, Clarky - It isn't one to get too excited about but I just think that Eastbourne have a bit more team spirit about them at the moment. They've dealt well all season with some very bad luck with injuries. I reckon King will have asked for a reaction after the limp 2-2 at home to Dorchester - all he's had since then is a 1-1 at home to Cambridge, a defeat at Eastbourne and the thrashing at Fisher!

An okay start to the new year. Two voids, and Eastbourne only drew - I should've listened to Clarky! Salisbury were also held at Weston. But a 2-1 win for King's Lynn and a 2-0 win for Alfreton at Hucknall at a big price mean 4pts ex stake profit on the day. Hope some of you managed to get on 7/5 Stamford and Evs Barrow - and Alfreton at 6.25 or 10/3!

@ c dark I have played asian +0,5 at 10bet for the lucrative price of 1,70! Grays haven't won at home since the 9th of september. They are suffering in front of goal because of the loss of Michael Kightly and Aaron McLeon. I don't think they will win this one. Gravesend are poor away from home. But they have won the latest two home games 1-0, so the defence is getting a bit stronger. I fancy them to keep from winning.
