redbridge v CHELMSFORD CITY-10/11 STANJAMES.

Well itseems to be something like 10 hours or so without a goal for allen fenn's strugglers,and the likes of young leon antoine must be wondering wher the next goal is coming from,but probably like the buses,once one comes as they say then the rest follows.

Chelmsford will be very dissapointed with the 2-1 home defeat to lowly rivals maldon town but there will surely be no better chance to put that defeat to bed than a trip to barkingside this tuesday evening.Judging from reports and from the fans forums the city are lacking a bit of width at the moment and craig edwardes was trying to make the best out of having 6 first team regulars unavailable for the maldon game.

However any team that can beat a solidish team like wealdstone 3- 1 away recently and one that also possesses a prolific forward in tony boot who,whilst still working his way to full fitness,is far too good for the ryman league,and backed by the 100% energy levels of the very underrated alex fiddes in midfield.and with the like of jamie moralee on the bench, I seem to remember that he scored a hatrick for newport in this fixture last season,should have enough to see off a team that is being prepared for the ryman first next season.
By the way well done ships at the weekend,superb,what more needs to be said,week in and week out,the best non league advice anywhere on the net.Good luck to one and all this midweek

Nice one, Ivor! By the way, I forget to say very well done to you landing a that double at the weekend... I was too distracted come Saturday evening!

Chelmsford are a very good call. I think I'm right in saying that Redbridge's last goal was a pen. I know Chelmsford's form short-term hasn't been great but I think this is one of those fixtures where you have to look at the team sheets and say Chelmsford are better in every single department than the home side.

One match has already caught my eye for Saturday: Droylsden at 11/8 for the trip to Gainsborough (Bet 365). They've scored 17 in the last five, with the likes of Fearns and Denham reaching top form. Gainsborough are poor defensively and don't do shut-outs. 2pts for me.

Aye its 1 goal in 9 games for Redbridge in all comps (that penno you mentioned). SportingOdds had Chelmsford at Evens this morning which I had a slice of and then it quickly disappeared returning at 1.85.

Anyone agree with me that Carshalton are too big at 10/3 for their trip to Stortford tomorrow?

Not sure about Carshalton, to be honest. It's true that they have improved in key areas of late but Bishop's S are on a decent run themselves. If I were betting on this fixture I'd probably need team news to tip in one direction or the other.

Mr m ,AS SOMEONE WHO SEES AND HAS SEEN a lot of carshalton over the last few seasons,indeed i saw the 0-0 draw between these two sides back at the start of the season,this is a trickyish game to call but i would have to lean slightly with the home side here.

With the improvement from all the bottom sides of late,even the likes of bishops stortford could quite concievably be sucked into the relegation dog-fight if they go on a losing run.So this would be a key 3points to get against the robins.

Overall i just feel that strorford are just a better side player for player,and in steve morrisson they do possess the one thing that carshalton are crying out for,a clinical striker.

Granted the robins are battling for their lives,led by the supoerb matty york,but they do have major problems in putting the ball in the back of the net.And matty fowler up front is nowhere near fit enough,at the moment

So if i had to call this one ,it would be with the home side

Corals and Stan James Saturday lists out. One price that really appeals is Billericay at 4/6 with Stan James for their home match against Hendon. Billericay haven't been getting the results performances have deserved, apart from last week when they won at Worthing (a 5/2 tip on here). A single for 2pts.
