Hi MrM - Firstly, Witton are in excellent nick - it's one defeat in nine since they had a blip following a budget cut and a few departures. In recent weeks, loan signings from Crewe, Nick Maynard and Rob Lloyd, have given them a different dimension. The last two at home have been draws: against Ferriby they were two up going into the last 10 mins, having played some of their best stuff of the season. The 0-0 with Whitby was a poor result, although they once again had the chances to win and the match was ruined by heavy rain. Guiseley are a decent side with a good away record (5 unbeaten), although for my money they have been very lucky to meet sides who were in bad runs themselves. Before that run started they lost at Lincoln U and Ossett, and within that run there were two horrid performances against Kendall in the Trophy, home draws with Runcorn and Leek, and a home loss to Bradford PA. Based on the form and league tables, the prices are fair, but I think Witton are much the better equipped and more efficient outfit. After Burscough and Farsley, Witton are the best side in the section, I reckon.

Apologies, once again, for posting so late. But here's a quick run-through on what I fancy. Hendon home to Margate 11/10 Stan James 2pts I've been guilty of following Hendon when I shouldn't this season, but I reckon they're value for this one. They've had a rejig of personnel in recent weeks, and have finally got a forward line than can put away the chances they create. John Frendo is away on loan but Ricci Crace, Blaise O'Brien and Byron Bubb are all capable of scoring. They've lost two in eight, tricky trips to Staines and AFC Dons. Margate, who began the season as well-organised draw specialists, have lost three in a row and their youngish side has little to look forward to short-term. Gloucester away at Chesham 9/5 Stan James 1pt Risky this, because Gloucester are awful, but they've managed successive 1-0 away wins at Rugby and Cirencester - neither, I believe, particularly comfortable, but at least it shows a dose of spirit and organisation. A few weeks back I punted against Chesham when they played at home to Tivvy. In the NLP that Friday Chesham boss Dennis Greene said that his intention was to pile forward and score three before the opposition woke up. I'm sure he was talking tongue-in-cheek, but that's what exactly what happened, although Tiverton fought back for a 3-3. Since then they've been done 6-0 at Salisbury (when they had no recognised central defenders on the pitch) and 3-0 at home to Bedford (tipped on here). They're working hard to get players in, but those changes will take a few weeks to bear fruit, and although Gloucester are a bottom-half side I'll take the risk on them at this price. Ilkeston home to Bradford PA 13/8 Slybet/Stan James 1pt One of my worst ante-post bets (along with Reading to be relegated from the Championship!), was Ilkeston to win the Unibond. They are not a very happy ship, although there has been improvement under Nigel Jemson. This week's appointment of Bryan Chambers as director of football hasn't gone down too well with some fans, but I reckon it's a positive move. Their attempt to re-sign Christian Moore from Kettering shows ambition - they are ones to watch for the end of this season (and possibly next). Bradford PA are not as good as their league position suggests - at least, I keep saying that. Last week they almost proved it at home to Leek, when they were out-battled and out-passed for long periods in a 0-0. I'm making Ilkeston slight favourites but I'm only prepared to shed a point in the cause. Leek home to Whitby 21/10 Bet 365 1pt The huge price has gone: Bet 365 have brught it into line at 7/4 although they are still best odds. For me, there's enough even in the price to still justify a small interest. They were 5/1 at Bradford last week, and almost landed the punt. Outside the top 10, only Ossett have conceded fewer, and their record of nine league losses is only one fewer than Whitby. I think Whitby are a bit better than their current run - no wins in five - but they are often vulnerable against fired-up oppenents. Just a point, but worth it at this price. Leighton (FA Trophy) at Borehamwood Slybet 6/1 1pt Leighton will have the Trophy bit between their teeth after winning at Eastleigh and they are in decent form. Borehamwood had a stunning start to the season, which has only just show signs of faltering. In the last round they managed a 3-1 win over Stamford, which wasn't quite as clear cut as the scoreline suggests. Make no mistake, they have quality throughout the ranks, and a decent bench too, but they do allow the opposition a chance. Leighton are enjoying a good spell, largely built on a defensive unit that has been unchanged for half-a-dozen games. I suspect both teams will be taking this tie seriously and that the prices should be way closer. They draw is a possiblity too, although I don't so draws if I can help it. Best of luck to all (1-10 scale)

Radio GG - Welcome to Punter's Lounge! The price is because there is they are at different steps in the pyramid - Weston, in theory, are two leagues better. But that is a big price for a Barking win, as Weston are in very inconsistent form. I think midfielder Lewis Hogg is suspended for Weston today, and he'll be a miss. However, Barking are missing a couple of bodies due to suspension. It hasn't been a great week for them, with a loss in the league to Enfield Town and in the week to Ryman 2 side Witham in the cup (albeit with more than a few first-teamers rested). I find this round of the Trophy particularly difficult to punt on - so much comes down to preparation and punters don't usually have access to that information. On balance, I would guess Weston are taking the match quite seriously, which puts me off the punt. My views only... best of luck with whatever you do.

Not a bad day to end a pretty good week. Hendon failed to take their chances against a gutsy Margate for whom Bertie Brayley is looking the real deal, so that was 2pts dropped and I lost another on long-shot Leighton. But wins for Witton, Ilkeston and Gloucester deposited another few points into the profit-bank. (Leek, I'm guessing was a really late call-off). After today's excellent win, Witton have to be considered genuine contenders for the title. Hope everyone had a decent day.
