Way too early to comment but 10/11 Buxton at home to Frickley seems a bit wide of the mark.

Hmm...Just a couple ideas to start off with

I know Constable is suspended, and Oxford did struggle to get the finishing touch against Kidderminster on Saturday, but Luton have hardly been breezing through their games. Their last home game was a 3-2 defeat to Ebbsfleet, and their Home form in general has been fairly patchy this season. Constable will be a loss to Oxford but I think Oxford have more depth in their squad then any other team in Non League football. The last factor I guess is there will be some tensions after some altercations between fans during the reverse fixture last year, so there is a small of a rivalry between the 2 clubs now. It should be a great atmosphere. I think Oxford shouldn't be priced this long against any team in the conference though. Possibly a DNB game.

Also, I think Stevenage might be a decent bet considering Mansfields current form as well as Stevenages Home form this year. Also Hayes & Yeading might be worthwhile on the -1 Handicap depending on the price offered, considering the flood of goals Grays are conceding right now.

Quickly, though I'll add more later:

Havant can be backed at the widespread 4/5 at home to troubled Bishop's Stortford. I also like the 7/4 at Bet365 about Maidenhead United at St Albans City.

In the North - after the excellent info from FAYC about the Staly situation - there'll be a a lot of takers of 11/8 Workington, a side that is on a good run and looking very resillient.

I've opposed Horsham a few times in recent weeks and it's worth taking them on again at home to an Ashford Town (Mddx) side that is unbeaten in 12 under Jamie Lawrence. It's fair to say they've ridden their luck at times but they play neat football that can undo a home side whose small squad is stretched. 6/4 at Skybet and Bet365 is decent.

I'll no doubt do something with Truro City at home to Hemel. I've a couple of fancies down here but I'll wait for more prices.

i'll take the 4/5 on havant against stortford. stortford are now missing so many players that young and inexperienced players are having to take to the pitch.
i'll have welling too at 6/5 at hampton. welling demolished stortford recently and their 2-2 draw at newport was confirmation that they have hit a real purple patch. hampton are poor despite their win at basingstoke which didn't surprise me - basingstoke can also be backed against with a bit of confidence if there's value in the price.
ships, i couldn't back maidenhead despite the 4-0 win yesterday. the score flattered the magpies and i'm impressed that st albans have added james lindie to their squad. he impressed at stortford on loan last season.

Havant 5/6 at home to Bishop's Stortford at BlueSQ - had a lump of that.

LG - agree with your call about Welling at Hampton, though I'll pass that one up as I'll be there. I think Maidenhead perform better on their travels with wins at Eastleigh and Bromley in their portfolio, and in Alex Wall they have someone who can exploit the extra spaces away from home. It'll be tight but I think 7/4 is value.

Buxton have lost the last two, but given they were away at Guiseley and Boston United, they can be forgiven those results. Before that they were in decent form and they were one of the sides I was regularly following. Apart from the Durham City win, Frickley haven't won since October. With Chris White up front and Chris Davies back in midfield, they are not without their decent performers, but it's not really happening and the goals aren't coming. Buxton are missing Gavin Knight, which is a blow, but they should have enough at an attractive 10/11 and widespread 10/11.

As per previous postings, I'm backing Havant & Waterlooville tonight. The new signings have given them a bit of spark, Manny Williams is back in goalscoring form, and that should be more than enough to see off Bishop's Stortford. As LeverstockGreen has pointed out, the HT/FT at BlueSQ looks decent.

Cheers Ships and Leverstock l am also on the Havant gravy train !!!!

I also think Southport are too big to miss at 11/8 (Bet365) away at Hinckley. Liam will have noted that Fleetwood have no midweek league game and a win for will put them level on points with a game in hand.....

I appreciate Hinckley are going well themselves although a 1-1 home draw on Saturday v The physical Vics has left the front two way in front.

Without doubt Liam Watson will see this as his most significant managerial achievement if he can win the title.....l fully expect him to push Fleetwood all the way.

I am a player at 11/8....

Good luck to one and all....

Having a further look l see in form Workington 11/8 in places (best price 7/5 with Bwin)against the "in turmoil" Stalybridge. What do you think FAYC ??

Also having run Southgport close at the weekend Blyth at home to the struggling Harrogate must be a part of any doubles or trebles at 4/6 in a couple of places.

I like Chelmsford (who can go 2nd tonight) at home to a struggling Dorchester (lost 10 of their 13 away games). The playoff positions are tight in the South and this is one they must win.

8/13 at Bet365 together (when generally 1/2) with Blyth at 8/13 is my double

Good punting !!!

13/8 Hendon at Maidstone United won't be on everyone's list, but with Alan Walker and Lloyd Hume departing this morning, plus three successive home defeats and one win in eight, I think it's worth opposing Maidstone. Hendon are hit and miss, but wins at Margate, Harrow and Aveley in the last six suggest they can be decent on their day. It's not a huge price, but it's decent enough given that Maidstone are likely to be pretty dispirited at the moment. The price is with VC Bet and Stan James.

I forgot to add that Maidstone also have a league game on Thursday night away at Carshalton and that Hendon are 2.7 at Bwin.

Everything you've put there is how I see Luton. I believe we have the strongest squad in this division bar none and IMO we shouldn't be 6/4 against anyone. However I've done that to death earlier in the season so won't dwell on it.

I'm not betting on this game but anyone who is should take into account the context of the game. Who is it a bigger game for? At the start of the season that would definitely have been Oxford. Now, it's a bigger game for us. Win tomorrow night and this title charge is firmly in business. Lose tomorrow and I suspect it'll be the playoffs at best.

In general our form is very good although we haven't been as good at home overall and that defeat to Ebbsfleet wasn't helpful. Under the lights at Kenilworth Rd in a must win game is a very different proposition. I've said in the Luton thread in sports banter in the past how the place comes alive under lights and with the game close to a sell out I expect nothing less than that tomorrow. Contrast that to Oxford who once again are beginning to wobble and if we win tomorrow night then that wobble will only worsen. Constable being out is a big bonus for us and from what I saw down there, a very big loss for them.

This game reminds me of the Plymouth and Hull home games in our last 2 promotion seasons. And indeed Grimsby at home last season. All 3 were must win matches and all 3 were won in incredible atmospheres. I believe if we win tomorrow night we will go on and win this league, it's potentially that big a game (as, obviously is our game with York next Tuesday).

Bar the 1st 15 minutes where we failed to really get reorganised after Tyler's penalty save and conceded a scrappy opener followed by a 25yd thunderbolt which was far too good for this league, I thought we outplayed Oxford in the reverse fixture and with Liam Hatch in such good form for us I think we'll nick this game but there's way too much emotion involved in it for me to bet in the game. However I'd rather be on a 6/4 shot going to win than the alternative who will be more than happy with a draw.

Re. Bishop's Stortford
The team news I have is that Charlie Sheringham is out due to injury. He is likely to be replaced by Danny Morgan who has, reportedly, not played this year. A siginificant number of the Stortford team will be youth team players.
Unfortunately the 5/6 has long gone and best price is now 4/7.

Thats fair enough, I probably won't be betting on the game either. Should be a good game and to be honest, I can see the result going either way.
