Bit early, but what the hell... two takes for Saturday:

2pts on Eastleigh at Yeading (9/5 with Stan James)
A meaningless match, but I am following the theory that caused me to side with Cambridge City last week: that Yeading are in a real state at the moment. It's a bit fingers-crossed this one, because Eastleigh - though tighter at the back than earlier season - often fail to impose themselves. But they are, man for man, a more capable outfit, and any last-weekend bet is always fingers-crossed.

1pt on Histon at Farnborough Town (6/4 with Stan James)
The dust is still settling on last night's events at Farnborough, but there was an exodus of unpaid senior players - eight, according to website (though I can't, to be honest, square that). Those players declined their services and they may or may not be back for the match with Histon. The fact that Farnborough pulled off a win last night is astonishing - either they have a great set of kids or Fisher were very bad. I'll probably add to this when I've had chance to track down more news.
