If you can get anywhere remotely near to 2.2 on Hartlepool to turn over Wrexham then grab it with both hands. We are sh1t at the moment

You never know how MK Dons are gonna perform, or will McLeod score first than get red card, or he will just get red card, but they look great to me @2.40.

I like the look of shrewsbury at rochdale - shrews 3 1 1 away thus far with a short trip to rochdale 1 1 3 so far.

Hereford x Lincoln x Swindon. Theyre all decent sides playing teams with 5points from 15away games combined between them! Odds of 4+ look good to me

--------------------------------------------------------------

Match: Torquay – Notts County
Pick: Notts County +0.25
Odds: 1.82 @ Pinnacle
Stakes: 8/10

Analysis: Torquay suffered a huge blow when they somehow self-destructed against Milton Keynes Dons despite taking a 2-0 lead at halftime. Performances and belief is looking a suspect with the recent league matches and I do feel it would take some time before they get back on track again. Notts County in contrast are on a 6 match unbeaten run and would look to extend it right here and do some good to their own promotion bid. A loss here for either side could put a minimum gap of 5 points between them and the teams above them and both sides know the stakes are high, even this early in the season. I am expecting a closely-fought contest with both sides being cautious. With the contrasting form of these 2 sides and the match-up of the players, the handicap is favorable in my opinion and I would fancy Notts County to salvage at least a point here to continue with their fine run.

Lincoln are playing well despite their defeat in Midweek. They must surely fancy their chances at home to struggling Bury

I like the look of Swindon at home to Boston at odds of 1.61.

Boston played out of their skin in midweek helped by the passion of a local derby. Away at Swindon is a different proposition. Swindon got good results at Notts County and Wycombe. They will want to make up for letting in a last kick equaliser at Wycombe in mid week. As stated in mid week thread Boston have lots of problems at present.

I think i will go with Swindon here. Althoug they won in midweek, here against Swindon it will be different. Simon Rusk (knee), Brad Maylett (groin), Lee Canoville (knee ligament) and Mark Greaves (hamstring) all remain sidelined for Boston. Swindon haven't won for some time and if they want to reach promotion will have to start winning. against Boston it's the perfect chance.
Swindon is strong at home 4-0-1 and despite losing 1-0 to P'borough they shoul have an easy win 2day. Boston are owfull away: 0-1-4 an 7-15GS.

10/10 Swindon

4pts Wycombe 0AH vs Accrington Stanley 1.95 Bet1128

Wycombe are in a good run of form right now and although they'll be missing top scorer Jermaine Easter here, old timer Tommy Mooney is still scoring goals. Manager Paul Lambert has his side well organised and although Accrington are picking up a bit recently I think the Chairboys will have too much for them.

4pts Hartlepool -0.25AH vs Wrexham 1.76 Ladbrokes

Wrexham have seemingly lost the plot away from home recently having lost and conceded 5 to both Accrington and Stockport - hardly the divisions world beaters. Hartlepool have just gone to Grimsby and won 4-1 and the confidence that will bring should stand them in good stead to win here back at Victoria Park which in recent years under previous regimes had been a fortress.

5pts Hartlepool vs Wrexham Over 2.5 Goals 1.94 Ladbrokes

Last seasons fixture ended 6-4 to Wrexham! These 2 regularly give us goalfests and I see no different today. Hartlepool just scored 4 against Grimsby while in recent weeks Wrexham have gone to Accrington and Stockport and conceded 5 both times. Both defences leak goals so this should have a few in it so I'm on the overs.

3pts Swindon -1AH vs Boston 2.19 Bet1128

Swindon are going along nicely at the top end of the table and welcome struggling Boston with confidence high. Boston themselves will be a bit more confident having seen off local rivals Lincoln in the week but they played on Wednesday and derby games can take some getting over, that could be exploited by Swindon who if the tick could run riot here.

Barnet v MK Dons

MK Dons seem to of lost their way of late losing to the mighty Chester 2-1 at home and were trailing 2-0 to Torquay at home in midweek. They managed to turn it around with returning strikers McLeod and Wilbraham scoring 3 between them. McLeod is a cut above any other striker in this league and with his suspension complete he can be the key man again. Barnet are struggling a bit right now with just 1 win in 7 and with the returning strikers for the visitors firing in midweek I take them to win this.

MK Dons 6/10 @ 2.4 ladbrokes

Hartlepool v Wrexham

Hartlepool started the season slowly but of late they've found their feet and scored 2 impressive wins in a row, 5-3 at Peterbrough and 4-1 at Grimsby. Wrexham seem to be struggling a bit right now especially after losing to Rochdale at home in midweek. They've also shipped plenty of goals away in heavy losses at Stockport and Accrington. Darren Ferguson misses out for the visitors.

Hartlepool 6/10 @ 2.0 stan james

Rochdale v Shrewsbury

Shrewsbury have gone 4 unbeaten and of them they've won their last 2 away games comfortably 3-0. Peters looks like hes recruited well in the summer and ex Chester man Ben Davies is amongst thos picks and hes impresses so far. Shrewsbury have a full strength squad to choose from, Andy Cooke could well feature for the Shrews. Rochdale have struggled at home so far with 1 win in 5 and with the vistors doing well of late on the road they are a value bet here today.

Shrewsbury 5/10 @ 3.0 betfair

Swindon v Boston

Despite Boston's win in midweek over Lincoln their form on the road is very ordinary, just 1 point out of 5 so far. Swindon have gone off the boil right now with just 2 pts out of 9. Their home form has been solid with 4 wins out of the 5 games. They do posses a strong squad for this league, Paul Ince is struggling as is Lee Peacock. Midfielder Paul Evans will need to step up if these players miss out as hes played well so far getting on the scoresheet on several occasions.

Swindon 8/10 @ 1.61 bet365

Walsall v Mansfield

Walsall find themselves sitting at the top of the table following results in midweek. This is helped in no part to their outstanding home form with 5 wins out of 5. They should fancy their chances of making it 6 from 6 when struggling Mansfield visit the Bescot. They've only picked up 2 pts from their travels. Walsall defender Ian Roper could feature again. Walsall's defence has yet to be breached at home and their confidence must be high and this isn't too bad a price for them to win with these stats in mind for me.

Walsall 8/10 @ 1.72 bet365

30m gone at Hartlepool and they are already 2-0 up. Daly scored the two goals within a minute of each other. They are looking good at the moment which is good considering a few people have got on them
